@pedrodea Lucas had made out off 6 scripts before he began development on the first movie. What what I understand, he and a few others didn't think that it would do so well, so they started out with 4, which in their eyes, if it wasn't as widely accepted as they were hoping it would be, could be stopped there without the need for a sequel because of how it ended.

@Tonyrocks5 You are right. He did great remaking the original Trilogy(special edition) and he did his best for episode 1,2, and 3. In my opinion. the movies were good. its episode3 that defined the moment when Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, the emperor comes to power, and when a new hope was born: Luke and leia: offspring of Anakin and a threat to the emperor
