  • 40 shots per second will be ideal for shooting at spring training baseball next March.

  • I can't wait to buy this camera for christmas!

  • is the battery life good? and are the video it takes good?

  • @laxbro29 It's Lithium-Ion battery which is good. It lasts much longer than any of the other batteries because you dont need to keep buying, you just have to recharge it when it dies out :) The video's are great for a 12 mega pixel camera you can check smaple vids. I think it's the best beginner DSLR camera for anyone. :)

  • --- FZ47---, how to watch its video playback directly on the Standard Definition television while this cam does not have a conventional AV cable?

  • Dollar for dollar, this is a terrific camera.

  • can the DMC-FZ47 use a mic too

  • @thomasmovesinc i think you're asking if it can hold an EXTERNAL camera and i THINK only cameras with a hotshoe have that capability which the 47 doesnt have. not sure.

  • Why they cant made something like old fz50 ? 1/2,33 inch sensor? wtf is this??

  • Ef-zed one fifty. Canadian, eh? :)

  • I just bought this camera last night.

Now to learn how to use it.

  • The Panasonic FZ series is great. They're complicated but VERY good. The FZ100 was much better than some of the reviews suggested and the FZ150 fixes most of the problems of the FZ100 and builds on it's strengths. I'm not sure why Panasonic have downgraded the 11fps/15 frames to 12fps/12 frames. The 15 frames are more use IMO.

The FZ150's only weakness is the EVF which is pretty crap. Compare the FZ EVFs to the G-series EVF and you'll see what I mean. But the FZ150 will still be brilliant! :-)

  • Panasonic is beginning to concern me; I completely jumped ship from Canon to Panasonic years ago (once Panasonic improved their low light recording)

But now I am waiting to upgrade but. . .

24X? Other manufacturers and in the 30something X zoom range

No, mic input? so the optics are long range but the sound??

When are we getting those high numbers on the still bursts?

Where is the high frame rate video?

Come on Panasonic, You can do it!

  • @aldenone 30x yes good, but its only as good as the image stabilizer. so far, u really cant take any pictures unless u have a tripod at 30x. Plus this cameras' the only one I know of that has raw shooting. I KNOW that sony's canon's and nikon's bridges do not.

Where the fuck did he say no microphone?

    1:36

This camera's an amazing balance (spec wise), of every bridge camera out.

  • HELP ME!!!!! HOW LONG WILL FZ47 RECORD VIDEO WITHOUT INTERRUPTION????????????

  • @Richard41M im guessing it's dependant on where in the world you're buying the camera. US spec should be only restricted to memory card size whereas a European model will most likely be limited to 29m59s due to duty regulations - ie if it were to record for longer it would be classed as a camcorder not a still camera and therefore subject to higher import duty taxes.

  • How will the low light video be?

  • Looks good but will they be better than the HX100V? I wonder. Looks promising so far. I like the way they've reduced the MP from 14 to 12 in order to improve the image qualiy in low light.

  • @roadspartan Panaosnic fz series have RAW an the HX100V dosnt, and also the fz150 shoots simlair to iso 200 at iso 1600, being compared to the fz100 , so at iso 1600 the fz150 didnt show banding noise or loss of detail, in fact head on over to dpreview google it, and look for fz150 samples, and youll be blown away by the lowlight performance of a MOS SENSOR on a point and shoot at high iso, its almost near a microfourthirds camera comparable to the l10 lumix ;)

  • @vwlover94 I tried the FZ100 and the FZ45 in the shop. Both had the same fundamental problem and deal breaker for me regardless on how good they are. The focus wheel at your right thumb is so stiff that it shakes the whole camera when you use it which ruins the video capture. It really does ruin a great camera range.

  • @roadspartan focus wheel? I dont have a focus wheel on mine....it has constant auto focus...

  • @vwlover94 if the FZ150 noise performance is improved over the dreadful FZ100 it would still fall a fair way short of it's micro 4/3 stablemates. i sent my FZ100 back and bought a G2, the FZ100's images were like a cheap compact in comparison, blurred and too soft. I hope the FZ150 is as good as promised but until i see the results for myself i'll stick with what i have :)

  • wow Im reallyinterested in buying theFZ150 for sports photography.

  • Hardly a great improvement over the FZ100 - why bother ;)

  • i was waiting for FZ150 it's a nice camera with good futures but i see i'll end up with sony hx100v. better and bigger zoom lens with manual control. better IQ even in low light and panorama sweep future is amazing. also not to forget GPS. sure better fast Autofocus. sorry pansonic you loos this year again. hop next year you will do better...

  • I have the Fz100, is it worth getting this in exchange?

  • @vwlover94 no its not, fz 150 is the same as fz 100, everything is the same, only 12 mpx sensor vs 14 mpx in fz 100. Shame on u Panasonic ! old camera with new name...

  • @2061983 No offense but you need to do your homework on cameras and their sensors. Having a fewer megapixels makes it easier for the camera to produce less noise on the image. Check it out for yourself.

  • @roadspartan No offense but i know that, I did my homework well( and in this small size of sensor 12 or 14 or 16 MPX doesnt change much, bigger sensor=better quality, in 1/2.33 inch sensor like fz150 better quality is more cause better anti noise programs), and i was saying that this is only difference between fz 100 and fz 150(+ 3d pictures and some cosmetics changes in options) And no offense but this is not much to call this camera "new model"

  • @2061983 So why dont all manufacturers put 25MP in their cameras?

  • @roadspartan i said 12-16 mpx is no big difference, 25 is to much, and u expect to much from this little tiny sensors, but offcourse u can believe what u want. Peace.

  • @vwlover94 Of course not! It is just a slightly improved version of the FZ100. I have the FZ100 and i will surely not buy the new model!
