What suprises me is how quiet the audience is... I just got back home from his concert in SF, in the front row I could barely hear Satch because the drums, bass, and audience were too loud...

... Then again, I moved to the back and I could hear things a little more "clearly"...

What's amazing is that his musical focus is entirely on the guitar and it has always been that way. Combined with that, and his expertise in various styles and techniques, he plays every song precisely. I'm amazed that someone can remember not only every song, but every note, bend, vibrato, whammy, hammer-on, pull, slide, etc.
