  • @Queenmunita thank you - the story of Wed Amir is true, you can see his biography and the many songs for Wed Amir by Albetelly.

  • Oh my great city, Counrty, and people u deserve respect and a better life. Let us stand all together, and fight for our rights and dignity.

  • Yslmo al-galeeeeeeeen. Oh my people, how great u are. 1961, the best wishes for u.

  • Yassalam!

in the clement embrace of Keren city

when curfew curtailed spun of the days when bayonets bled more profusely than the slain; when soldiers perpetrated wanton acts of rape, slaughter and plunder there rose a melody of love in defiance of the gloom and trascended beyond the crushing grief, there was amorous song

    there was TAAMURA

this song epitomizes an era but more so the indomitable spirit of Keren

    a missing part is

    awalwd kabrafoko wa tsilmat

    afuha haye hala kim lambat

  • Dergi soldiers?

والله انتا هرم وانتا رمز في الفن الرتري

  • well done ( eritrea1961 ) hope to bring us songs for Idriss . M . Ali because this guy injustice twice from the media and the government when he throw him to the jail without any reason and without any judgement

  • thanks abuajaj80 - there iare coming soon - Idris he is a great man - he love Eritrea, he must be honor, and speakout for Idris, all Eritrea love Idris, never forget Idris,

  • hadre ya hayat cultur'hu, i will follow your treasure box of your beautiful historical music.

    thank you eritrea1961.

  • Thanks amarkulshines, those are our people, our culture, and I love this treasure, still Eritrea has a great culture, and its yours to discover,

  • omg where you getting all these lovely old love songs. appricaites.

  • this is my culture, I born with it, I love it, I like to show to the whole world what beautiful unique culture is and feel good about it "its yours to discover"

  • thanks, there are more of those type of songs soon is coming if you like it, and check the list,

  • When I listen to this song it remids me of Keren Tzaada, of Abbe Abdella, of Hilet Wereba, Adhabab, Hilet Sudan, Ad ugub, Gaza banda, Hashela, Keren Laaliy, the psychiatry of Sheikh Zaid, Bombet Abraait before it changed to 'bomba abrehet', Dukan Seid Gassim and many others

  • My dear br. Wd Karan. Even the country name has been changed to Ertra! It is not Eritrea any more!!!! And if u do not speak Tigringa u are not Eritrean!!! Shame on whome?? one me and everyone like me!!!

  • dear 03458757 welet keren, please do not blame yourself, we are too nice, and someone take advantges, there is always light after dark, and dark never last for ever,

  • My remarks about 'Bombet Abriet' does not in any way target or undermine tigrinya speakers in Eritrea nor in Keren . As a semitic language, Tigrinya is the most close language to Tigre. I am strongly opposed to the systematic 'Tigrinisation' of Eritrea at all walks of life by the EPLF/PFDJ which includes changing historical names, directly or indirectly.

  • thank you (belemat) you are brave and if every Eritrean speak out, things might be change long time, but never too late,

  • I wonder if this is Albetelly from Agordat or another Betal.

  • Yes from Agordat (Baraka - Gash - Eritrea) we proud of him, he is the best, more is coming soon,

  • Beautiful traditional Eritrean song widely sang by Abbe Abdella. Thanks ER1961

  • soon is coming biography of Wed Amir, interesting we findout he died in 1964 (updated)not 1965
