The evidence comes from every field of human study. Which specific part of your belief system do you want to examine today? We could do prayer, souls, heaven/hell, or miracles. There's plenty more, but I don't have time to educate you from scratch.

Isn't it funny that JLAOM upstairs here thinks that books are evidence? Is it that actual evidence and real physical science are so far removed from his life?

When people point out evidence for evolution they show actual fossils and actual radio-carbon dating results (representing the actual decay of real neutrons/protons) they don't point to a physics or biology textbook and say "that's all the evidence I need!"

I do not limit gods word to just the bible, but I can assure you his words do not reach the mormons blasphemous one. The mormon bible completely contradicts the old and new testament. For instance the mormon bible speaks of man becoming a god, (and if you don't believe me I just might know more about your cult than you do) God states in the first testament that there were no gods before him and there will be no gods after him

First of all, the "Mormon Bible" is the King James Version of the Bible.

Second, you made it very obvious that you have never read the Book of Mormon. Give me chapter and verse where it "speaks of man becoming a god."

Chapter and verse from the Book of Mormon. If you go to scriptures*lds*org, you can see an online version with a search tool.

So if you have never read it and apparently know very little about it, how can you be sure the Book of Mormon is not the word of God?

The way you described a "cult" does not fit the LDS Church. The United States government ABSOLUTELY recognizes the LDS Church. Did you know that President Bush awarded President Gordon B. Hinckley the Medal of Honor a few years ago, the nation's HIGHEST civilian honor?

It's obvious you don't do first-hand research. I asked you several questions above to see if you had done first-hand research and instead of answering them, you've decided to either 1) change the subject or 2) leave.

I didn't change the subject, I had to post twice to even reply because I had too much to say in my first response. Receiving a medal from a lame duck president doesn't mean jack., president bush has made if pretty clear he doesn't represent the u.s people.

Bush wasn't a lame duck president then. It was awarded June 23, 2004 before his reelection.

Whether you like Bush or not, you have to agree that it's a pretty strong example that the U.S. government DOES recognize the LDS Church. The President of the Church was awarded the nation's highest civilian honor.

Again, the definition you gave does not fit the LDS Church, sorry.

You see, if one part of your definition breaks down, then the whole definition does. Not to mention the rest of your definition is flawed as well. For example, provide evidence (not more baseless allegations) that the Church "profits" from believers.

I was hoping you guys would understand the part about Not adding to the word of God. We have a way to test prophets. The Mormon prophets have failed. What more of a red flag do you need? My advise is to trust the Word of God, Period.

Are you referring to the scripture in Revelation 22? Did you know that many mainstream Christian scholars now believe that Revelation was not the last book that John wrote which is included in the Bible?

Therefore, should we exclude the other books written by John because they were written after Revelation? Of course not. That scripture refers to the book of Revelation, not the Bible (which had not yet even been compiled yet.)
