Pitbulls have been called evil, brutal, aggressive. Mine is currently rolled up next to me snuggling on the couch under the blanket snoring while I watch the gb-giants game.
The pitbull is such a loyal breed. They have patience no other dog could. I love this breed so much and just got to love this song. It's a beautiful song. Got to save our breed because times is running out. My pitbulls mean the world to me and would fight for them any day.
There are much nicer and safer dogs then these unpredictable cockroaches of the canine world. I have had a lot of critters, but I would these would never own dogs. I say huskies, labs , border collies and cats are the ways to go! I just don't see what people in these beasts

I actually forgot about the Nanny dog thing! I own 3 pits and love them all upp like they are lil 6mth old babies! Never have they chased anything or attacked! My lg 75 Lb pit mawls you with kisses! So scary right! I have been chased and my kids have been chased by the neighbors 2 labs! Does that make Labs dangerous???? People only get them to fight by starvin them for weeks and beating them! i have 2 staff cross pitbulls and i trust them round my kids more than any person there soft and loving and people shouldnt treat them or brand them the way they do a dog is how you make it no matter what the breed.
I hate the person who either cut that dogs eye out, or if they just sewed their eye flaps together.... Either way, i hate them. If it was poked out, then i understand it being sewed together. That way it doesn't get infected. People disgust me.
@Redtim911 I believe you're talking about the small brown puppy with a stitched up eye... his/her eye was kicked out by the owner. The puppy died several weeks after being rescued due to parvo.

oldschoolgreentube, pitbull attacks are usually caused by inexperienced dog owners. i have two pitbulls and theyre the biggest lap dogs you could ever have. if you train them right and love them and take up alot of time with them they will be just like my dogs. my dogs have attention at least 3-4 hours a day. do some research about the breed. 90% of the time its the way they are trained. i hate it when people stereotype pitbulls. they are just like any other dog except they aim to please you.
So many people say bad things about pits, staffs, bully's etc, but in the end it comes down to the owners. Ive been around numerous pits in my life and they have been and still are the sweetest and kindest dogs ever to people and other animals both big and small. If an owner wants a dog to fight and I mean ANY dog it will. If the owner is responsible and not a complete horrible piece of shit, pits as well as any dog can be a loving one. APBTs have been prized in the fighting rings for many reasons, two being their pain tolerance and "don't stop until one of us is dead" attitude. While I agree they are loveable pets, they can have dog-aggression; some dogs will only have a small degree, some will be beyond Average Joe's control. Some will never show any. A lot of it has to do with the genetics, not training.

@Rvelezable That's true, selective breeding can do a lot to a breed. Animal aggression is usually bred in faster than it is bred out - if one were careful enough in his/her breeding program, he/she could turn a Retriever into a ratting dog if he/she wanted. It may take many generations, but it is always possible. It's the reason I also emphasis choosing a responsible breeder with strong, healthy, and stable bloodlines/pedigrees... genetics make a major impact a dogs behavior.

This breed I'd recommend ONLY to highly experienced dog owners. If you choose a bad bloodline/breeder, train incorrectly, cannot fully control a dog, etc. people (and animals) can end up dead. I will not deny that many are unpredictable and poor examples of dogs... but I will say that there are also many that are fabulous dogs. They have to be in the right hands - NOT a breed for everyone. I appreciate the comments but in dog fighting these dogs are forced to fight on a regular basis. I know dogs were bred for specific jobs but they can be trained to control those instincts. The point is dog fighters have totally messed with the original dog by crossbreeding. ANY dog can become aggressive for any reason. If any dog shows signs of aggression you put a muzzle on it right away and get professional help to address it. Kids must be supervised around dogs & don't let dogs run loose

I've known many pampered pups that were raised properly but were still animal or human aggressive due to bad breeding. We can change characteristics in a few generations; when people bred fighting dogs they programmed these dogs to do it naturally, without training. i live in the uk and pitbulls are frawned upon,i have one,i got him from a shady rescue centre,had i not fought for him he'd have been put to sleep,they wouldnt let me take him cos i was pregnant so i went back the next daycovered in make up,wore a hat and a big coat to cover my bumb and i got him.i was worried cos i have 2 young children but any doubt quickly dissolved,he loves the kids,sleeps with my eldest son and even plays with my rabbits,hes huge too,but soft as shit.i love you kane!!!xx

it's so sad to see these dogs mistreated. i don't own a pitbull but a staffy which is almost the same breed. landlords didn't even want to consider me until they met my dog. this is the most understood breed in the world. the dog i have has been the best and loyal dog i have owned. loves children, other dogs and strangers. they are so friendly and awesome dogs. he is my co pilot :)

i have a pitt. love him to death. he run and jumps in my truck as soon as i open the door lickin all over my face. only problem i have is he weighs to much to jump on me. hes great with our kids, NEVER has snaped at them, VERY proticve of us and the kids. great video

I have one and she is the smartest, Most loyal, loving, beautiful hearted dog I have ever come across. Also I have fostered 19 dogs and she gets along with every one of them. When they get adopted she just welcomes the new foster in our home like the foster has been there for years. Of the 19 dogs we have fostered the two most pleasent dogs were pittbull pure bred.

Any breed has the capability to maul a human. Pit Bulls often fall into the hands of idiotic owners who cannot control a powerful, working animal. Pits were bred for work, but they were also bred to be excellent around the home. A correctly trained, handled, & socialized animal will not bite. Dogs will not just snap for no reason; there is always a reason behind it. Learn your facts & get to know the breed before judging please, because they are magnificent animals.

Just because some pits are forced to fight because of their incredible stamina doesn't mean the race is designed to kill. Also, your typical pitbull owner profile is rediculous. The American Staffordshire Terrier is a different breed then the American Pit Bull Terrier. There is no such thing as an "american terrier". This video is so sad! I found a female pitbull 5 years ago, scarred all over and one of her ears was cut off with some home tool while the other was left normal. She turned out to be the best and most loving dog I ever had no matter what was done to her before! RIP Nala!
Rat Terriers and Pits are my favorite breed of dogs. Loyal, smart, loving and fun. What humans ask of and do to the APBT is the cruelest aspect of humanity. Thankfully we have wonderful people who advocate on their behalf. It is up to legit breeders to breed them true to type and owners to spay and neuter so that the professional breeders can help create the APBT that we all love. Do not support the so called special lines that are not the APBT.
Pitbulls have been called evil, brutal, aggressive. Mine is currently rolled up next to me snuggling on the couch under the blanket snoring while I watch the gb-giants game.

oldschoolgreentube, pitbull attacks are usually caused by inexperienced dog owners. i have two pitbulls and theyre the biggest lap dogs you could ever have. if you train them right and love them and take up alot of time with them they will be just like my dogs. my dogs have attention at least 3-4 hours a day. do some research about the breed. 90% of the time its the way they are trained. i hate it when people stereotype pitbulls. they are just like any other dog except they aim to please you.

So many people say bad things about pits, staffs, bully's etc, but in the end it comes down to the owners. Ive been around numerous pits in my life and they have been and still are the sweetest and kindest dogs ever to people and other animals both big and small. If an owner wants a dog to fight and I mean ANY dog it will. If the owner is responsible and not a complete horrible piece of shit, pits as well as any dog can be a loving one. APBTs have been prized in the fighting rings for many reasons, two being their pain tolerance and "don't stop until one of us is dead" attitude. While I agree they are loveable pets, they can have dog-aggression; some dogs will only have a small degree, some will be beyond Average Joe's control. Some will never show any. A lot of it has to do with the genetics, not training.

@Rvelezable That's true, selective breeding can do a lot to a breed. Animal aggression is usually bred in faster than it is bred out - if one were careful enough in his/her breeding program, he/she could turn a Retriever into a ratting dog if he/she wanted. It may take many generations, but it is always possible. It's the reason I also emphasis choosing a responsible breeder with strong, healthy, and stable bloodlines/pedigrees... genetics make a major impact a dogs behavior.

According to many books and websites reflecting the history of the breed, Pit Bull Terriers were originally bred for Bull Baiting and Dog fighting because of their unusually strong jaw power. The dogs were bred and trained for Bull Baiting, so that they would attack the bull until they collapsed from exhaustion. The very first war dog ever known to man was a Pit Bull mix named Sgt. Stubby. In the 1900's, Pit bulls were the #1 family dog and often called the "Nanny Dog". I LOVE my Pit Bull.

@CoronaTheFatCat This is true, Pit Bulls were originally bred for bull baiting, as well as ratting! ;) They were perfect for the job because of their agility and stamina (they are very quick and have an extremely high pain tolerance - perfect for a dog messing with large bulls). Dog fighting wasn't introduced until after the banning of bull baiting.

@oldschoolgreentube The popularity of a breed has a major impact on the bite statistics - you're more likely to have a bite happen by a Lab when there's 3,000 living in one state, a lot less likely if there's only 3 living in one state... This breed I'd recommend ONLY to highly experienced dog owners. If you choose a bad bloodline/breeder, train incorrectly, cannot fully control a dog, etc. people (and animals) can end up dead. I will not deny that many are unpredictable and poor examples of dogs... but I will say that there are also many that are fabulous dogs. They have to be in the right hands - NOT a breed for everyone. I appreciate the comments but in dog fighting these dogs are forced to fight on a regular basis. I know dogs were bred for specific jobs but they can be trained to control those instincts. The point is dog fighters have totally messed with the original dog by crossbreeding. ANY dog can become aggressive for any reason. If any dog shows signs of aggression you put a muzzle on it right away and get professional help to address it. Kids must be supervised around dogs & don't let dogs run loose

Irresponsible dog owners need to be held accountable. Any dog can become aggressive for many reasons such as abuse and ill health, etc. The media is the reason for the hysteria. I've known many pampered pups that were raised properly but were still animal or human aggressive due to bad breeding. If a strain of dog is bred for a specific job for many years, it becomes ingrained in them. Any gamedog breeder could tell you the same; their dogs don't require any special training to make them fight, it's genetics. Just like Bassets track, Rat Terriers kill rodents,

Sometimes too much love can cause dog to be aggresive, sometimes you can make mistake not even thinking you did. Discipline should be at first place, then workout, and after that love. We can change characteristics in a few generations; when people bred fighting dogs they programmed these dogs to do it naturally, without training. Many APBTs still carry these genetics, the urge to fight. Yet "PittBull Luvrz" are always shocked when their dog gets in a fight. Research is KEY! Not all will get into fights, but it's always a possibility & the owner should be prepared for an accident to happen.

i live in the uk and pitbulls are frawned upon,i have one,i got him from a shady rescue centre,had i not fought for him he'd have been put to sleep,they wouldnt let me take him cos i was pregnant so i went back the next daycovered in make up,wore a hat and a big coat to cover my bumb and i got him.i was worried cos i have 2 young children but any doubt quickly dissolved,he loves the kids,sleeps with my eldest son and even plays with my rabbits,hes huge too,but soft as shit.i love you kane!!!xx

it's so sad to see these dogs mistreated. i don't own a pitbull but a staffy which is almost the same breed. landlords didn't even want to consider me until they met my dog. this is the most understood breed in the world. the dog i have has been the best and loyal dog i have owned. loves children, other dogs and strangers. they are so friendly and awesome dogs. he is my co pilot :)

I have one and she is the smartest, Most loyal, loving, beautiful hearted dog I have ever come across. Also I have fostered 19 dogs and she gets along with every one of them. When they get adopted she just welcomes the new foster in our home like the foster has been there for years. Of the 19 dogs we have fostered the two most pleasent dogs were pittbull pure bred.

people are so ignorent. little dogs are meaner and more aggressive then big dogs its just they can be stoped but they can still do big damage. i think anyone who fights/ miss uses animals like the pichures in this video should be sent to prison for along time or get the chair because somebody that can do that will have no promblem with taking a humans life

@Almax9691 wow u make your self sound like a idiot.... they were used as a fighting breed but they were not bred for that, they were bred for pulling wagons, guarding, watching, hunting, and many other things. the apbt have passed above average all tempermant test surpassing "many so called safe dog"... oh and on the stats yearly only about 1 to 3 people are killed by apbts but by other dogs many more people die

I am from Serbia and I like so much APBT!!! I`d like to buy baby APBT because they are so cute and good dogs,because one of them saved my life when I was little boy,he catched my leg and get me out of the street...my mother was angry and she called police,but I trully know who saved my life-APT!!! I LOVE THEM!!!

some breeds of human should be banned in my oppinion, anyone who can do these things to an animal has no concience and could just as well do the same to a human i would imagine.
it gave me a lump in my throat looking at the images of abused dogs who just need to be loved.

Popularity of a breed is a better indicator of dog attacks because there are a lot of irresponsible owners out there. "Time and time again" the dog that bites isn't spayed or neutered, is chained or spends most of its time outside instead of with the family and is left unsupervised with a child.

i have an american bulldog an i love him to death.
i once had a pitt, an she was so wonderful. its jus so sad how people from all ages and backgrounds dont love they dogs as much as most others do. no animal deserves any of the abuse they endure. its wrong. how bout to all u dog fighters for money an the sport. how bout we let them dogs attack you an use u for bait, or better yet, lets place our bets. lets c who could win, the dog, or the dumb fuck whos about to be mauled. no weapons..........

Any breed has the capability to maul a human. Pit Bulls often fall into the hands of idiotic owners who cannot control a powerful, working animal. Pits were bred for work, but they were also bred to be excellent around the home. A correctly trained, handled, & socialized animal will not bite. Dogs will not just snap for no reason; there is always a reason behind it. Learn your facts & get to know the breed before judging please, because they are magnificent animals.

@Almax9691 Pit Bulls weren't originally bred for fighting, in case you didn't know. They are very versatile dogs and can have MANY jobs. They are not worthless animals, and if you believe that they cannot be trusted pets, that is your fault. You're the one missing out on a fantastic breed.
People don't get bit because of dogs, dogs bite because of people.

Anyways, to clearify the situation, it's not my dog. It's my brothers so I'm not the "owner" of it. Furthermore, my brothers dog is not designed to kill. She is 2 years old and is the laziest dog I've ever met. Want to know why? He activates/trains her for hours every day by running and other stuff. She is just like any other dog.

Genetics play major role in dog behavior / temperament. Breeders; their dogs don't require special training to make them perform, it's genetics. they're bred for it, why there are champion lineages. Just because some pits are forced to fight because of their incredible stamina doesn't mean the race is designed to kill. Also, your typical pitbull owner profile is rediculous. Saying it's typical only for pitbull owners to sometimes get angry and express themselves with the word "hate" and OCCASIONALLY have a bad day at school IS absurd. First, it's PIT BULLS. Not pittbuls. And no, they are called Pit Bulls no matter what. In the fighting ring they are Pits and on the couch they are Pits. The American Staffordshire Terrier is a different breed then the American Pit Bull Terrier. There is no such thing as an "american terrier". I don't know where you heard that rubbish from, but whoever made it up wasn't educated on the breed whatsoever.

This video is so sad! I found a female pitbull 5 years ago, scarred all over and one of her ears was cut off with some home tool while the other was left normal. She turned out to be the best and most loving dog I ever had no matter what was done to her before! RIP Nala!

Rat Terriers and Pits are my favorite breed of dogs. Loyal, smart, loving and fun. What humans ask of and do to the APBT is the cruelest aspect of humanity. Thankfully we have wonderful people who advocate on their behalf. It is up to legit breeders to breed them true to type and owners to spay and neuter so that the professional breeders can help create the APBT that we all love. Do not support the so called special lines that are not the APBT.
