  • Don't miss in my fire mate ;-)

  • I've caught the last freo train home SO many times and I'm pretty sure it takes less than 1hr to get there...unlike this film. And the backgrounds aren't in sync to where they say they are. ehhh

  • .

    Hey, janellementesana

Yeah, that's probably true but it was a low budget film unlike Holiyood with its millions of bucks, and the acting's awesome I reckon. If it was just like the real trip it would just be another boring train ride, aye! :)

  • @janellementesana at any other time it usually takes up to 30 minutes from Perth to Fremantle, that's if it stopped at all stops.

I would have thought more people catch the train at the time, freo has good pubs and all.

  • The Film Crew made a mock up single car A set that was used for most of the filming. Set 38 was used for the parts where they could actually drive a train along the tracks. It was filmed very early in the morning after the last services were in. I believe a shed driver may have driven the cars.

  • Thanks for that Mob1006. Very interesting, I had no idea how it was filmed. It's really effective just looks like a regular car. Such a great film especially considering the very few actors and scene changes. Remains one of my all time faves. Might upload some more sometime.

  • I wonder how they filmed this? Must have been kind of hard on the train.

  • I'd never given that a thought, but yes it must have been quite challenging. Effective though...

  • @Jet3800 They probably would have permission from Transperth to do so beforehand.

  • *holding a bat, waiting for the trolls*

  • must be Gigi.....she has a particularly omminent presence in this film....and the menacing Steve...the closet homo slash killer

  • Feels like you're on the train with them.

Might upload another clip with Gigi.

  • put the part up when he pulls the gun out

  • good story to this.....they are going to town waiting on thier dole checks to hit the bank....the girl....now makes Insurance ads.....good stuff

  • never saw this movie but it looks real good.

  • I've never done that, but I love this film it's one of the best Aussie films ever made. btw I've never been to WA must do that sometime :)
