  • @UnionPacificRules I'm also amazed at what that little steamer can pull. Thanks for hopping aboard the train with me. Thanks so much!!

  • Really nice job! The camera angles are sweet!

  • @hellya2011 Thanks for hopping aboard and riding with me, and for taking the time to leave your comment. I appreciate it.

  • nice job! it makes me want to get a steam engine lol

    Great video!

  • @TSBYrailroad Thanks for hopping aboard and for leaving your kind words. You're right--a steam engine would look great on your layout. And this was a cheap one ($25) too. Thanks again!

  • Wow, Very nice video Charlie. You did a great job on the editing part of this also. I like the view from the top of the train the best, 2 Thumps!!

  • @ohiosouthern Thanks for taking a ride with me and for leaving your kind words. I appreciate it. This was an enjoyable video to make too. Thanks again.

  • great music, classic train, and superb camera angles my railroading friend!

  • @3rdStreetStudio Thanks so much for taking a ride with me. I'm glad you liked it and appreciate your comment.

  • Nice vid! Make me want to get a steam locomotive for my layout. Especially one that makes smoke like the old Tyco Chattanooga steam loco i had on my childhood HO layout.

  • @98148AH Smoking steam locos are cool and this one used to smoke--but not any more. I won't complain thought, since I bought it new--about $25, about 5 years ago. Thanks so much for stopping by my channel and taking a ride!

  • Another great video Charlie! I really do enjoy the 'cab ride' shots! What brand camera do you use, and could you please tell me how wide it is? I want to shoot the same angle from a flat car. Thanks for sharing mate! 5000 Stars!! =)>

  • @teddybeareleventeen Thanks a million! I wish I owned a video camera but I don't. I use a Canon A590 mounted on the hood of a switcher. (The very end of my "Model Freight Train Cab Ride" vid has 3 shots of this.) I tried a flat car, but it was too wobbly & too low (the camera stuck out & hit EVERYthing it passed). I also couldn't shoot from the track by the back wall because it stuck out too far. For me, the engine mount gave it a more stable ride. Thanks for coming aboard & for your stars!

  • @ConrailxChessie Thanks for hopping aboard and riding with me. I appreciate your comment.

  • Yet another great video from you, Charlie. But I must ask, why does our train just run into a random bumper post at the 1:00 mark? Thanks a lot for this great video!

  • @spazman13579 Thanks so much for riding with me. The train at the 1:00 mark was another train--a passenger train. (I'll admit it was a bit awkward, but I thought it was a cool shot.) Our freight train kept on going. Thanks again for taking the time to watch and comment!
