I remember watching a behind the scenes episode of this show and the writers came up with Six because a writer knew a girl whose name was Seven, so they subtracted one and that's how they got the name.

@clapnot1 if you watch a very special show ( its an episode with all the cast reunited 20 years later ) they talk about the show and stuff and the writer said someone went to school with a person named seven so they just decided to use 'six'
