The rap is what puts meaning in this song. If it wasnt there, people would just think its about dancing or something. People say the rap just doesnt fit in in this song, but its really not supposed to. This song is about the war in Iraq. At first, it sounds all happy and upbeat, then the rap comes in and it seems a little more sad and corrupted. Its basically like the soldiers were happy, but then they had to go and fight in the war. Look up the lyrics, they mean a lot.

I hated Plastic Beach. Don't flame me anyone but I'm really disappointed with what Gorillaz are doing now. Here they were more original and their videos were more fun and took it to heart. The later videos and songs just aren't what made them how they used to be.They now have these crap new artists in their videos and less of Gorillaz. Remember the first Gorillaz album where NO ONE was invovled except Gorillaz themselves?? That's how they should be now. I miss the old Gorillaz :(

Since I know you wont read up on it, almost all of their albums features outside musicians including their very first album, the actual musicians int he groups throughout the years have contributed to different musical aspects of each album instead of only stick with one instrument. This is why each album is different than the last. Its the way its always been and will continue to be.
