  • At least this doesn't star a geazer and a nerd that break out into a rap with singing as monotone a Pitbull

  • My favorite Zelda game...Majora's Mask. I love it cuz it's darker than most Zelda games, but not so dark that it's given a T rating like Twilight Princess, which is also a good game.

  • i just fliped both of those games recently. (: amazing

  • I loved this tv commercial when i was a kid and i always wanted to play those games. The graphic of this commercial is promising to current zelda games

  • Love the commercial but the mouth that comes out looks like the dairy queen one xD

  • This is my favorite commercial of all time!

  • The Oracle series are some of my favorite video games of all time. I remember this commercial on TV, and the moment I saw it, I knew I had to get those games. Both the commercial and the games are excellent. That said, though, this is probably one of the most misleading commercials I've ever seen, lol. Absolutely nothing in this commercial actually happens in the games. A shame, really.

  • ITS AWESOME...

  • To be honest the 2D Zelda games were always more fun to me........OoT is ridiculously overrated

  • These games are the bridge between old and new.

  • Please come to 3DS.

  • @OgnarPliskin I hope so too. Along with Pokemon.

  • @OgnarPliskin If they made Majora's Mask 3D I would poop myself. I know that game took more processing power than OoT, but still, I can hope...

  • @ratchet1215 Nintendo has announced that they want to release a new Zelda game for the 3DS before making anymore remakes. Although Miamoto himself did say that a revamped A Link To The Past might have a good 3D rendition (Not knowing whether that means still 2D overhead view gameplay or not). I know MM was unbelievably awesome, but Skyward Sword is the best game in the franchise, best game ever made in my opinion.

Nice seeing you as a Zelda fan though, still remember that MM LP you had going.

  • @EvilApple567 The awful, awful quality of the visuals drove me away from finishing that series.

  • @ratchet1215 That's nothing. 3DS can handle N64 just fine.

  • @OgnarPliskin I know the graphics wouldn't be an issue, but in order to run Majora's Mask and make all the various schedules and events in Termina happen in real time, the N64 required the Expansion Pak. They might be able to shortcut such a thing on the 3DS or just run it outright, I don't know. From what they did with OoT3D it does seem like the system would be able to handle such a thing.

  • @ratchet1215 They can do it.

  • i remember seeing this years ago on tv

  • This gotta be the best commercial EVAR!

  • @medicwheat69 On a Game Boy Advance Sp model AGS 101.

  • I just ordered both games. This December is going to be rad!

  • @XxLawletxX i bought season when i was 9 and beat it lik a year ago when i was 16 lml crazy right i wana get ages where did u order it from

  • @XxLawletxX are you going to paly it on a hand held, or on the game cube?

  • this reminds me of a time when the zelda series still had somewhere to go

  • I really wish they'd remake these games, and complete the trilogy with Secrets. These games were amazing, I have never seen 2 games that had such awesome interaction with each other, and you didn't even need the game link cable or a second gameboy.

  • Ages and Seasons are two of the best Zelda games. They have everything you could want in a Zelda and then some. :)

  • @FelixRm23 I never played those, but I thought Link's Awakening DX was pretty fun.

  • Wow, a bit misleading commercial no?

  • SEASONS FTW!

  • My seasons and ages are now complete! :D

  • I always want to try them both. I love Link's Awakening on the Gameboy so I'll enjoy these games. I hope that this will be on the virtual Console soon!

Fun Fact: It was suppose to be three Oracles games. But the third one is axed in favor for the two games.

  • The gameboy games are way better than the others in the series.

  • whats the difference between oos and ooa?

  • @supermancatcool They have two seperate stories that are linked together through a password system. You get too choose which game happened first, and thus get to choose how the overall storyline plays out. They're two amazing and well done games (as well as being incredibly difficult).

  • So that is where the DQ mouth got its start.

  • @WhiteEmerald1991 lol bro

  • The only thing I wish I knew was the music that was played durring this. Does anyone know it?

  • Dang that mouth scared me at the end lol

  • I hope we get these on the e shop soon.

  • Wish for oracle of secrets

  • what's even funny is that isn't even the plot of the Oracle games! lol

  • the gameboy games are the best of the zelda franchise

    awakening

    seasons

    ages

  • @therealbologna2 damn straight

  • @therealbologna2 My favorite is A link to the past, but then the gameboy games ;) and the NES games are great, too;)

  • @therealbologna2 Eh not really...

  • I loved both of these games. I had seasons and my homie had ages back in elementary. We both had our gameboys and the link cable to be able to trade rings and to be able to fight twinrova (i think that was her name?) and ganon... gahhh! i need to hit up the gamerdoc by my pad and get myself another copy of these games!!!!!

  • i have the same game boy color as the one in the commercial! :D

  • Ages is more puzzle oriented. Seasons is more action oriented.

  • I soo remember this ad, sure i was like four or something but Ive just always remembered it. I searched this ad up a while ago and found out it was zelda (didnt remember the game but i did the "an adventure to big for one game) and its sorta weird that when id completly forgot about this zelda was still my fave game. Its lile this advert stuck in my head so i was compelled to the game. Ahh memories.

  • Kinda interesting that the Link in the commercial looks like OOT Link and not the oracle series Link

  • man I had that exact Game boy color, and I had season on that game boy. but I only borrowed it never finished seasons D=

  • Oh my god, I want the oracles to look like this!! I want THIS as a game! NOW! MAKE IT NINTENDO! sigh... stupid wii u, it's too intense for life.

  • They need to make another 2 part type zelda game like this again. Both come out at same time and both go hand and hand with each other. Would be awwwwesome.

  • Lets see these games go on the virtual console for the 3DS!

  • Fake!

  • I'm playing seasons first because i want to keep the best at the end. Am I doing it right?

  • @Numberplay it all depends on what you prefer the best, i know for sure that ages has more puzzles in it, but there both really good and my favorite zelda game of all time would have to be Seasons , but hey, it doesnt matter in what order you play them what matters is that after you pass them both you get the REAL ending... but only after you pass them both

  • As it was ending I was like.. That was a pretty good commerc--HOLY CRAP GIANT LIPS!!!

  • links awakening all the way.

  • They can put thouse graphics in a commercial but not in the N64 NOO SIR!

  • Today's graphics may beat these's, but the essence of the game never fades away.

  • It would have been awesome if they had actually made it in 3d

  • So glad I kept these games and my Gameboy color

  • I bought both games today for a rather good price I might add ;)

  • I think i was five when this game came out, and i remember wanting it soooo freakin bad. I never got it. ):

It seems like its way more expensive now than it ever was.

  • The commercial is cool I remember it when I was a kid.

  • these games are so underrated

  • an adventure too big for just one gameboy game = Epic Truth

  • I feel so sad for not buying this game 9 years ago. YEAHHH, I still remember seeing this commercial a couple of times while making homeworks, but I didn´t had the idea it was of an awesome game, what a shame!!! Can someone tell me where could I find it, yes, I know its difficult, considering it came out in 2001, but maybe the attemp will worth.

  • @stredum123 *Achem*Emuparidise*Achem*

  • @stredum123 Amazon has all zelda games really cheap :D

  • lols adult Link from Oot

  • God this game was fun when i was a kid

who else thinks this would be an epic remake on a new gen console?

  • @fromstart2finish Dude...if it were redone Twilight Princess/Skyward Sword style...I'd come universes.

  • @fromstart2finish I want an Ages remake and a Zelda 2 remake.

  • can some one tell me where can I get this game from or download it from and can I play this on my DS

  • i wish the third game came out!

  • @Oceanus135 They scrapped it for the sole reason that it would be very complicated to link all three together for 100% completion.

  • LMAO!!!...they put more effort into creating Link for the commercial than for the game...:')...

    <3 Legend of Zelda forever...<3...

  • @SlasherLink119

If you really believe that, then you have no idea how much time, effort and money goes into making video games. =) Unless of course you're talking graphics-wise, in which the Oracle series used the same graphics engine as Link's Awakening. Still, it's good to note that these games were originally going to be three games, one for each piece of the Triforce. They scratched that idea partway into development though and dropped it to two titles.

  • @TheZeldaDungeon - Haha, don't get me wrong...that was actually just a joke...I'm a game production student, so I'm aware of all the work that is put into even the smallest games...haha...I actually specifically meant the two Links...I didn't know that it was supposed to be three games, however...Thank you for that info!...that is good to know...:)...

  • @TheZeldaDungeon Actually, you're the one who doesn't know how much time effort and money goes into making video games from that time era. Most games were made in the span of a couple of months by less than a dozen people. Did you know mortal kombat was created by FOUR guys in just a few months? Final Fantasy IV was made by only 12 people in something like 6 months.

Nowadays, sure, it's a multi-million dollar investment and takes hundreds of developers and 3-4 years to make a game now.

  • @TheZeldaDungeon i loved ages and seasons!

  • @TheZeldaDungeon Actually, they were originally going to be six games (two of which were remakes). Then, they decided to scrap the remakes and one of the originals for the "Mystical Seed" games. After they realized how difficult it would be to incorporate the password system for this, they decided on the Oracle games.

  • @TheZeldaDungeon I didn't know that.....that seems really interesting...I mean it was cool enough to get the real ending/boos fight only by playing both games but if it was split into three games? wow..lastly the ebay/amazon prices for these games (even just bare cart) is just crazy high...just saying.lol

  • thats the link from orcarina of time. the one from seasons and ages looks nothing like the hero of time

  • wtf that was cool but the lips were weird

  • Such an underrated game

  • does anyone know what hes throwing off in the begining? im thinking maby rocks cape but im not sure

  • idk whats cooler in the video the rod of seasons flashing or the sword magicly fusing together

  • If only it actually looked like this......if only......

  • yeah i know but hey twilight princess doesnt look that good lmao

  • man why did i get thumbed down for suggesting a 3d remake?

  • @WillMcCKill Well, it would look better, but that's about it, which is kind of a bad reason to remake anything. The games were amazing to begin with after all.

Besides, at least to me there are something cool about those gameboy-sprites that wouldn't transfer to the 3D remakes.

I dunno why you'd get thumbed down for wanting them though. It's just that there's no need for remaking them, no errors in translations or horrible glitches or anything.

  • I loved it, Oracles are awesome! Ages had the better dungeons, map and puzzles imo.

  • would i be thumbed down for suggesting a ds/ wii/ or ds2 -remake? : x

  • I remember first seeing this commercial on TV in home room in 8th grade... I nearly shat myself with joy that another Zelda was coming out. I still have my Seasons cartridge.

  • same here good old memories i have both got emm by fluke

  • 3d remakes of these games would be nice

  • @WillMcCKill

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks that. You're right.

  • I bought OoS online back in August. Best online buy ever! Can't wait to get OoA soon. :3

Every single Zelda game is epic. Even Zelda 2, which kinda failed. :)

  • if only it was as epic as the commercial :/

  • pease do an LP on this!!!

  • Last 2 seconds creeped me out :D

  • @ryuuproductions Those last two seconds, half of the youtube community grew up with XD

  • awsum trailer

  • my fav gameboy colour game

  • Fuck you Joeybugman Americans are Awesome, too bad I live in the Shitty Europe

  • Oh you crazy youtubers and your overeactions

  • when did he say any thing bad about any one???

  • i remember this commercial o_O

  • lol i wish it was as epic as the commercial lol *******

  • Comment removed

  • I remember this(pretty obvious comment lol) good game but not as epic as this commercial 0.0

  • The level of epicness is not on part with this commercial, because the game was more epic. ;)

Hehe, seriously though, Ages at least, (not so much Seasons), had everything anybody could ask for in a Hardcore Zelda title. At least in my opinion.

  • The games were good but i really think this commercial overhyped it..

You can only do so much with the color lol..
