  • you forgot the best song " Fighting the spirit"

  • There's something that makes the blue light flying through the clouds that's so mezmerising.. I wish I could use that as my screensaver.

  • Much like Uematsu, Sakuraba is a God amongst men.

  • this game looks remarkably JUST like star ocean!

  • What happened to vid #125????

  • The GBA version had some really crappy music, and the character sprites had disproportionate heads.

  • its not complete , there a lot more music here ,but great job , I LOVE SNES GAMES AND MUSIC :)

  • Where's entry 125?

  • BRILLANT!

Love your videogames music "pot-pourri" from your countdown!

  • 4:37

    Q_Q

    SO SAD WAHHHH!

  • music is awesome, but anyone else love the spellcasting voices? definately gave the characters a bit of life while fighting imo

  • so um... arche or mint?

  • SNES jazz rocks!

  • i'm always sad when they play that one piece. the one that plays when cless's town was destroyed.

  • Yeah that's "Be absentminded" that song still makes me cry.

  • Thanks for the clarification.

  • What game was it?

  • It was a special entry that focued on video game cartoons and their theme songs. Evidently the Earthworm Jim animated series is a big no-no on YouTube, although all the others were acceptable. Check out my 400th video for something along the same lines.

  • Ah, I was wondering why that entry was removed.

Anyways, never played this game on the GBA, but after listening to the music I just can't get over how awesome old school RPG music is.

  • What happened to video 125?

  • Removed by YouTube.

  • does the snes version have multiplayer

  • The original is the only version of the game that was great.

  • True, Gba was too slow and ugly, and all the others were ugly too.

Snes only weakpoint was that Cless attacks when he was on the pegasus sucked and the encounter rate was extremely high in comparison with GBA.

  • Correction on this video's info:

Ryota Furuya was along side Sakuraba and Tamura on this game.

    Hatsushiba composed the main theme.

  • Sweet, thanks for the info. Updated the video's description.

  • Yeah. Some music of this game need be delicated remixed. Except for those bright songs in the game, I also love the chilly song of road in hill.

  • yeah!! i agree with you... you mean the sylph's theme??, it's one of my favorite songs on this game. this game is a master piece, besides chrono trigger and breath of fire for snes.

  • Definitely one of the best soundtracks there ever was, only outdone by Uematsu in my opinion.

  • I enjoy playing Tales of Phantasia too. ^^ Though the plot is similar to many fantasy games, what I like is really how it gave the characters more of a personality. The game showed us their thoughts, feelings, and how even best friends fight in a bad situation.

I had the PS version, but sadly it's in Japanese, and my Jap is woefully inadequate to understand what they are saying. XD So for me, the GBA version will have to suffice.

Thanks for uploading this, by the way. ^^

  • Playing an episode of a tales game is like having an awesome dream that you want to go back in when you wake up.

  • ditto!

  • yes!!

i played only Tales of Phantasia but i know what u mean

    you express my feelings!!

    i love ToP

my english isnt so good... i cant say what i mean

    ..worthless

  • My english isn't the best either and sometimes i wonder if what i write will be understood, but actually it seems that people here understand me so it's not a big problem if your english is not perfect

  • but your right

    its like a dream

and you will not wake up because its so nice

  • Your English is totally OK! :)

  • Not worthless, we understand you bro. :)

  • then it's allright :)

    peace bro

  • i feel the same i play the snes version 10 years ago and now i playing the psx version but i get you point of view i think that this has something ;)

my english is not very well too haha

  • so glad they remade this for gba

sadly it had different music in some parts

  • I agree. Compared to the GBA port, the SNES/SFC version has better quality of music.

  • you also cant do alot of the extra stuff from super nes

    *cough cough*naming characters*cough cough*

  • One of the best musics on the SNES.

  • beutifull music
