Seriously........you need to check your facts. It was not the state constitution........it was the document that was signed when the nation of TEXAS joined the US. You are obviously NOT from TEXAS, as you would know - it is a much different state of mind down here.

@Mrmikeshelton If you want to secede so bad, maybe you should get the hell out of the United States before suggesting something that, last time it was tried, lead to the largest amount of American blood spilt since the revolutionary war. I'm not ready to die for Perry's idiocy and I'm ashamed of you as an American for even joking about it. @utopianfiat Perry, the idiot wanted to secede but Native Texan's said NO to his idiotic thoughts! He took over for GWB, who destroyed Texas in his short period as Gov. and history shows how GWB destroyed the country as President. Interesting, Perry's ads claim he gave Obama a letter but he never did the same for his so-called buddy GWB. WHY? Perry slandered GWB calling GWB the worst Governor. GWB then ignored Perry!
