Well, usually I ain't ghosting as well, but now I am trying to.
At least keep encounters/alerts to a minimum. I just don't have the patience for that, so the blackjack is drawn more often than I really like.
Found the walkthrough you mentioned, thanks. Sadly its no ghoster. I believe the inofficial "official" rules forbid any 2nd level AI alert so a noise arrow would not be an option. Think thats impossible.
Ah yes. I've seen those walkthroughs (I don't think it exists at all, really, but it's useful =P)...but I noticed they often have the person running around like a nutter, banging into everyone. I doubt you could do it for Thieves' Guild anyway cos it takes so long getting everywhere. Would be an interesting experiment.
So true. Actually I hate that map. I looked for a walkthrough cuz I wanted to see how they did it, or if it is even possible to get all the loot on the level while playing ghost style.
I just cannot imagine how you would get at that one purse, laying in the cupboard behind the swordsman who is standing together with an archer in one of the two bigger watchposts, that are directly in the gambling room below the restaurant.
Oh yeah, I remember the one you mean. I can't really think of how to do it either, cos I never tried. Maybe flashbomb and then KO everyone? Or if you're ghosting, fire a noisemaker arrow and get it while they're looking? I also think there's a door behind him leading from the actual Guild. I don't really play ghost style but I never kill people. I liked the Guild level, but it gets a bit tedious so I haven't played it much.
Oh yeah, I just realised there is a walkthrough on here, although it's not a ghosting/100% one. Just search for "Thief 1 Mission 5". The guy who did it has made ones for all of the first two Thiefs.
They were there two months ago when I posted my comment. And yeah, his account got hacked/closed and he had to reopen a new one. As to why he hasn't yet re-uploaded all his videos...I don't know =(

One of my favorite levels in the thief series. it wasn't that good in places, but i still liked the idea; it was an original concept

Well I saw Walkthroughs (does that word even exist as plural?) of other levels that took 10 minutes or less while including ALL loot on Expert.
But you are still right, I didn't took notice of the total playtime of this video.

Oh many of those Walkthroughs aren't there any more!
DavyB1987 (Author) deleted many missions of Thief 1 and Thief 2.
But look for "Thief Gold Mission 5 Part".
Then you can find the Walkthrough of "Thieves Guild". It's still there...
Strange... Why did he deleted much of his videos? They were as good as those, which are still there.
