spiking is part of the sport. You don't do it everytime but once in a while when it's intense or an amazing catch after a very long point.

No, being that good doesn't give you the right to spike the disc. It's just something cocky players do to be tools.

no that's not it at all. it's something that good teams tell their layers to do in order to get in the D lines' heads. that's also why the team that scores rushes the field and starts yelling.
