Cascade and Messier said that there new helmet "the M11 PRO" would be hitting stores in January. Its February and they haven't shown up yet. Would you guys by any chance have some info on why they aren't out yet?
@TINKERHOCKEY I don't know why exactly they aren't out yet, but I am showing the scheduled arrival date to our warehouse is March 1st. They would be posted shortly after that.
@downtoearthwithben I wore the bauer 4500 and it was a sick looking helmet, but it also hurt on impact a lot more than the m11. The m11 isnt as good looking but it will protect you way more and be more comfortable. Hardly any weight difference.
@VanekAttack421 While they are good at preventing concussions and everything, I'm not at liberty to tell you if it will protect you to the extent in which you can play again. Sorry.

what I like on this helmet is that you have air vents on the side of the head ! on helmets from reebok and bauer you have not air vents in this part of the head and it is as much as important that air vents on the top and the back of the head, the cascade's helmet will be my next helmet !

i got a concussion yesterday due to a elbow to the head, the helmet i wore didnt fit cause i have a wide head, and i havnt found any other helmets that fit until today, i tryed on this helmet and i couldnt believe how great it felt!! im going to get one this week!
@icehockeywarehouse hey Tyson i have this helment and when you push the sides of the helment it is like very bendy, is this a good thing unlike the s19 z shock if tr to push the sides in it doesn`t buge, may you tell me why it is so weak on the sides and which one is better for getting hit a lot. bauer 9900, s19, m11 or other helments
@braeden72 One way is not necessarily better, just different forms of protection. I personally like the 9900 helmet myself, but with a helmet, a proper fit is the most important. Different companies fit differently.
@GiraffesZebras I don't see why not. Even if you play in a non-checking league. This is your head/brain we're talking about. I say, if you can buy it (and you like the way it looks. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
How well does this helmet fit since you noted that it only has that adjustment in the back and not being a two shell on a track or ratchet system and the back adjustment like Bauer or the Reebok helmets
@gunner525 I like the fit of the M11. The different sizes offer the major size changes, and the back adjustment actually does a good job at adjusting the helmet size. Probably works better on the lower and mid parts of the size range.
@icehockeywarehouse Thanks. I was debating about the Bauer helmets or M11. M11 was pulling me a lot because of the increased concusion prevention it has over the other helmets on the market. BTW if I wear a size 7 1/4 fitted baseball hat what size M11 should I wear?
The Cascade M11 is going to offer the best protection for multiple impacts, because the protection is able to almost instantly return to its original form.
You will hear different opinions. The M11 really focuses on the multiple impact technology and does a great job at offering excellent protection. The one95 I would say is more comfortable than the M11.

I'm wondering if I should invest into this helmet even if I play in a no hitting league.
(Although, I haven't played in awhile...for one,, money reasons...though I did just get hired :) so time to invest into hockey again!)
I have a Mission M-15 helmet/face mask.
I used it for one season, and it was a little heavy. Some of the padding has come un-glued as well.
