  • @MissCedarbridge1

    Abuse? It's called fishing...

  • @Mister86Productions no dumb ass its call abuse when you hurt that poor fish mouth for no reason at all

  • @MissCedarbridge1

Haha! Your the "dumb ass" here for saying that. No fish enjoys getting hooked, get over it.

  • @MissCedarbridge1 Do you eat meat or wear leather ? If you do you are supporting even worse only indirectly.

  • @garystorey nope I dont any more que??

  • @Mister86Productions still animal abuse you wanna be hooked?

  • @TheChildofcain

Shut the fuck up, you're making yourself sound like an absolute idiot. We've been fishing for since the very beginning of Human civilization, along with livestock which isn't very different. Are you a vegan? If not, where the hell do you think your meat is coming from? The grocery store? No dumbass; it comes from the abattoir, where we kill and process livestock so you can enjoy the luxury of eating meat without getting your hands dirty. It's called nature!

  • I wonder if there are any albino longfinned oscars in the everglades....I have one of those and they look kewlio franco

  • Pretty fish, but they're very aggressive. They get huge and screw up your tank and stuff.

  • I breed 1000 of them for less than 50bucks...

  • where are you fishing address please reply

  • I have 2 albino oscars as pets, never knew they were that easy to catch!

  • why do oscar fish that had long maintained in aquarium and in their natural habitat they have completely different ? in their natural habitat ... oscar fish has a wider body and big ... smaller head ... and the greenish color.it's look very beautiful although only a few red spots in their body. my oscar...? it's have big head , small body and a lot of red spots on it...and i didn't like it :(

  • If you catch any invasive species it is ILLEGAL to return them to the water. Just Sayin, cover yo self.

  • That's a man made pond you dumb-asses.

  • Here in Mexico that fish costs $350¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • @Omallora Wow! The day I caught like 20 I would have a lot of money!

  • @carag001 you will caught with no hook and then you can sell them or give me one jeje ;D

  • @Omallora Wow, in canada they usually cost 5 bucks

  • @Omallora ya so does a house lol

  • wow i love oscars. where do u live 2 catch one their such a tempermental species, well i thought they r. Very picky with water conditions and temperature

  • dont you morons know how wrong it is to release a foreign species of fish into Florida? and illegal? I guess you think its ok for a Burmese python to be there too.

  • @Blupearl2003 I just catch them. Oscars are established and there is not a damn thing I can do about it.

  • @carag001 Oh, yes there is. Don't throw them back. It's ILLEGAL to catch & then release invasive species. It's pretty simple. If you catch one, don't throw it back. Whack the fucker, & take it home & use it for fertilizer or whatever.

  • @carag001 haha they are cool fish huh

  • @carag001 listen to your dumb ass talk and read how it sounds

  • @carag001 You can eat them .

  • @Blupearl2003 whats the difference between a oscar and a brim? its not like oscars are killing native species.

  • @Blupearl2003 hey, pythons actually live in Florida DUMBY

  • @Blupearl2003 If you're so upset about "invasive species", go kill a feral cat or dog, or better yet get your ass out of FL yourself.

  • @Blupearl2003 Idiot.

  • I want to catch one but for me

  • @Omallora I did that already

  • @Omallora you can get them at a pet store for probably $10

  • absolutly beautiful oscar.

  • looks more like a home made pond dumb asses.

  • Are those native to the everglades?

  • i still love your videos Carag001...my dream is to come there and just catch an oscar!!!

  • @hamsikElavezzi I had my spot in the everglades for them but they are no longer there. There is a canal where they still must be thriving though. That is where I caught the one I had i my fish tank. That day I caught like 8 and chose the best looking Oscar. Thanks for watching my videos!

  • Lol at 0.08 to 0.20

  • yup there i go i go there igo igo

  • I think thats a bullseye snakehead

  • what r u using for bait?

  • Lol, has this guy never caught a fish before? Don't drag the fish and hold it down on the ground, it can get gill damage (seen it, before). And it's an oscar, not a catfish, pick the thing up, it won't hurt you. Bad.

  • @xxatvxx i think this guy wasnt planning to put him back. so gill damage doesnt matter

  • he looks awesome

  • That's awesome man!!!

  • you can catch alot of oscars on okeechobee Lake. theres alot of them there. just get plastic worms or earth worms and you will catch them.

  • Someone I know caught one here in Canada recently, lol

  • Oscars Are Not Native To Florida Why Relese It

  • couple days ago sum1 caught an oscar in our parks lake, i hate it when people let them go, they die in winter when you can just take them to a petstore

  • Are Oscars good eating? So cool fishing for Oscars...to cold for them where I live..

  • @Gambit58 great eating. nice firm flesh.

  • oscars are so cool

  • dude i have one of those as pets

  • Oscars ruined Bass fishing

  • whats the biggest oscar you caught? lbs and length?

  • @YourFriendlyMe Look through mi videos, it was one I caught in the Everglades. It was about 12 inches and 1.7 lbs I think. I got the video, just scroll around my vids and you will see it.

  • do they fight good?

  • @YourFriendlyMe For their size yes, specially on a set up like I had on the video.

  • i didn't know there's wild oscar in america

  • @SayNoToEThug They are established in South FL. There are also Midas cichlids and whole lot more of cichlids.

  • If people keep releasing fish like these...oscars will eventually be banned

  • they can´t fishing !!!

  • People let them loose when they get to big for their tanks.

  • i swer chiclids are in arfica only

  • @TheDwoods14 first off, oscars are from south america, and ur right, oscars and others dont COME from florida, but theyre and invasive species. They dont cause damage, but they should be killed when caught. in fact, red anf tiger oscars came from florida because of all the crayfish in the water, which gave them carotenes.

  • I love this videos oscar fishing loooks like fun!!!!!!

  • @BackroadsFisherman Yes a lot of people love my Oscar fishing videos. I guess the fishes popularity coupled with catching them in the wild is a good combo! Thanks for dropping a comment!

  • damn nice wild type oscar

  • @nicofish1000 Thanks, I had one as a pet. They are abundant in south FL.

  • Miami fans ya man. damn oscars just swim around out there? here in cali all i get is catfish

  • oscars are vulnerable when it comes to fishing l0l

  • never jus lay a fish on the ground....they have a protective slime that covers their scales and protect them against infections and inpurities in the water..

  • @HughMungus2k9 Cool story bro...

  • I live in Miami and we catch them now and than. I am glad you didn't kill him because in truth as you know they are found in hot shallow waters and hot canals where native fish do not go. They eat mosquito fish ,insects and small cichlids.

It is construction and pollution run off plus the HUGE amount of illegal fishing here which is the real killer of natives NOT cichlids.

  • i really like your vids man! keep it up!

  • landing net you ever heard of one ,learn to fish or sell ur rod because you aint got a clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh dude holdin the camera said chiners not shiners im rollin on the floor thats funny

  • lol if i was you i wud jus take loads of them home lmao and put em ina big fish tank :) but i guess there are really cheap to purchase from the pet stores?

  • I believe Oscars in The Everglades are protected. They were put there by the state for insect control as an alternative to using harsh chemicals.

  • soooooooo coooool

  • thanks for putting him back

  • what is that hook thing that you hook onto the oscars mouth called????? plzz help

  • It is called a lipper or grip. They sell them @ bass pro for about $14. They are great for bass and peacock bass specially. Peacock bass but your fingers when you catch as many as I do in a day.

  • nice fish bad mister hoock :P

Why not just use a weth tshirt , more love from the people eeeeeeihn:P

  • I just put them on the grass or hold them with the grip. I have caught this Oscar 3 times because there are only 2 in the whole lake. They all survive when I catch them. They are doing just fine.

  • yeah man it's alright but i'm a real fish lover . Try to feed thim a bit :) so he will get real big.

    Peace,

    Erik

  • that's a nice looking oscar.

  • Thank you! Thanks for watching my Oscar videos.

  • thats cool, never seen one in a lake...huge oscar. Where do yall live at?

  • Miami FL. I used to catch a crap load of them in the everglades about 8 months ago. Check out those videos. I caught a huge 1.7 oz Oscar, my biggest so far. I caught 2 today but only filmed this one.
