I think I know what you mean, the punks nowadays dress like I/we used to do in the early-mid 80's. Punk is in a time warp. The 80's look, all the old bands being paid to reform, the scene is becoming like those R'n'R package tours that used to happen with all the old time bands reforming to tour for our mums and dads. Now we are the mums and dads, the Old farts!! And as for the youngsters, boycott the reform bands and go see new ones, sure listen to the old records but go see new bands.

They've turned it into the cartoon that Parsons/Burchill said it would become, and I never like those two, couple of 'slip in Rimbaud, Mao or Jung quotes into their articles' wankers.

Its sad for the new bands because punk has progressed
