  • wtf lol

  • I kind of like those rules. It does suck to see a match end just because of an Armbar or a choke. Obviously it should be stopped if there is damage to a body part or a knockout. I think forcing someone to win by multiple subs is a good way to really test ones atheleticism and skills.

  • agreed

  • the white guy sucks ass

  • 1:53 lmao!!!

  • Judo mat :) yassss .

  • this wasn't fair... Good job though, very clean Jitsu.

  • hahaha, ricardo raphael's face looks like a young Marc Coleman!! Hahaha - never seen that before!

bien joué, mais t'étais quand même un bon bout plus lourd que l'autre et t'avais l'air d'être vachement mieux en téchnique aussi...

  • No knock outs? =/ darn..

Oh well.. So did you challenge a guy of of youtube or did you just put this on youtube?

  • No lol

I don't challenge guys off the net.

It's a grappling fight that took place 8 months or so ago

  • Another thing, why so eager to submit? Figure 4, arm bar etc... and only one submission? How about position before submission?

  • Finally goes north south at 1:45 hahaha! I wouldve gone there much earlier. To me it seems alot harder to escape north south (especially no gi) than to escape side control.

  • Your opponent looked really bad...first day BAD!

  • no offense but when u had him down from that single leg take down, it was really easy to get him in an arm bar or rear naked choke

  • Very nice!

  • GO CANADA AND KISS HIM!!!

  • Apparently Canada is gay?

  • if you want to stand a chance in mma you need atleast 2 more years of hard training. you're not ready yet.

  • seriously tho'. disregard everything negative i was saying about these dudes. just keep training hard man.

  • if i've said anything disrespectful i didn't really mean it. keep on training dude. hopefully we roll one day. easy

  • being on top is good but being on your back is better. it shows how comfortable your ground game is. i really want to face this dude . i'm 170 pounds by the way.

  • i'd join your school for one thing. capoeira. i see you're in montreal...if ever i'm there i'll holla at your gym. might snowboard there.

  • but for real if you want to fight me let me know. boxing , or muay thai too. you'll see how i do. better form plus my left leg is deadly...southpaw style. i'm guessing fighter's dream is that black dude. take me up on the offer i'm no joke

  • and again if that was me there'd be some judo throws going on. this dude is shit.

  • these dudes do suck. that black dude is pure strength...and i'm black so i can say this. if that was me the dude would catch a triangle choke. this is pretty much wrestling. garbage. if anyone is in toronto ontario and wants to roll one day leave a message here. that's toronto ontario.

  • EVERY1! these guys dont 'suk'. it is a no gi's mach. completetly diferent to bbj sparing. all the manovers and leavering is alot harder without gi's. ofcourse they rnt fuking red belts (helio, carlos, rorion) but its a hole dif ball game

  • The white guy is barely a white belt. Has he been training for 5-6 days?

  • this is pretty much all wrestling...it'd never work against a good jiujitsu guy

  • wow this is so funny... the whole time i was in shock how much they both sucked... the white guy didnt do shit he just was a stump and the black guy sucked, but atleast he was doing something... man eighter city boxing knows how to train us, or you guys are retarded

  • One things that guys here don't understand is normally after one submission the fight is over. In that competition, you must submit the guy 3 times to win your fight! You get 0 points for takedowns, 0 point for passing ect. In a normal grappling tournament the fight would have been over in less then 2 minutes. And one rule I hated, neck cranks where forbiden which are probably my best techniques

  • my response was for killarmy75 not really knowing the techniques of jiu jitsu

  • The loser was horrible...

  • the guy losing is a begginer. very much a beginner or he was under influence of some drugs..he didnt lok interesed in moving at all

  • lol that was a poor demo of grappling. both players are horrible.

  • mm i agree, i just looks like they are both tryin to over power each other witth strength, but thats is not wat jiu-jitsu is about really

  • This was terrible.the white guy hopefully was getting trained cause if he wasn't thats sad forreal!

  • maybe the guy ontop should go for a mount or something it gives you atleast a bit of thinking time?

  • haha this guy sucks...i've been training for a year and i'm all technique...his dude is a 2 move noob. kimura and armbar....he kept doing teh same things. i wish i could face him. check me out . just type in "chris kof" in search and you'll see me and my buddy rollin'

  • I don't like trash talking in internet. Come up to Canada to a grappling tournament, send me a message and tell me where and when. If your not a midget and you weight at least 185 pounds ( at least for this fight to be competitive lol) it will be a pleasure for me to fight you. I don't care if your 230 pounds I'l take you anyways. I'l bring my cam and I'l post the fight on youtube so everyone can see the outcome. So you know what to do big boy

  • ya i agree with u man, all these online guys talk trash, they just bark, and have no bite.

  • i weight about 165lbs and i'm deffently the smallest person that trains at city boxing... i wouldn't mind taking up your challange... come on you got atleast 20lbs on me...and trust me weight doesnt matter as much as techique

  • No problem. Set a date a place and I'l take you. We'l have fun lol

  • It's been a week. Still haven't heard anything. Second guy that chickens out. Killer army then you...is this a trend? LOL

  • i live in toronto canada. if you're close by here then by all means let me know man. i've only been training for a year but i guarantee my form is better. type in>> chris kof and you'll see my video. in my video i was only playing with my friend too

  • if the kimura is there and the armbar is there why force anything else? you dont now much about jiu jitsu.

  • Sorry but I'm not impressed - at all. I wouldn't give this guy as being a high white belt to a VERY low blue belt at best. He looked more like a wrestler who had learned some basic bjj and no more. I saw 95% aggression and 5% as real grappling technique. And no, but you do not have a mma style of jiujitsu. The only thing you have is that fact that you need to get back to the gym and actually work on good solid technique -- not whatever that nonsense was.

  • i think i know why the bicep slicer didnt work, because his hands were on his chest tand therefore did have any space for your triangled legs to squeeze his arms down

  • first thing that you could've done is get you hooks in when he was in turtle. then roll to the side n get the rnc or transition to an armbar from back control. done deal quick victory

  • jeffchen's right. You have great flexibility and flow, like you kne exactly what he was doing and the counter (not that it was hard, look at him o____o)

  • My main goal is to always prevent him to get back to guard by controling his hips. The guy was very defensive he gave me few opportunities to submit him. I was a little unhappy as I did not get the chance to show my true ability. I have a competition coming up next week, I'l fight some bigger stronger guys and I will post it in here. Stay toon!

  • Hell yeah, I'ma subscribe :)

  • fightersdream, you got really good flow there man!! u move like a snake!

now how come that bicep slicer didnt work?

  • oriental style jiu jitsu.

    watch helio gracie you'll see

  • the white guy is terrible he's obviously a white belt that's been training no longer than a month if he's even trained at all. his guard is shocking and has no idea how to escape a side control

  • Agreed. The 'white' guy looked completely clueless imo.

  • looks pretty cool.....

  • He said MMA oriented style of Jiu Jitsu. There's no doubt that having someone in your guard gives you a lot of options and your opponent very few (usually just escape). In MMA unless you have a very strong guard game it's not neccesarily the best place to be.
