uh, it's obvious why people don't like to listen to hk ppl speak english. It's because cantonese doesn't require words to be smooth. When hk ppl get used to that, they can't pronounce english words properly, and the accent makes their english sound terrible. Not to mention that most hk ppl have really bad grammer.
@bradcto it's not about requirement, my point was just in return to the fact that it's kinda of weird and pointless for the 2 guys to wonder about why others don't like listening to hk people speak english, because the answer is extremely obvious, that's all~
The Indian guy's English is fine. In comparison, the Chinese guy's English is not in the same league. I nearly got choked while listening his English pronunciation also I found it very much entertaining as the chinese guy could be so arrogant still. I feel sorry for those hongkong people who believe this Chinese guy's English is so good enough to teach English. It is really a news and a huge surprise to many people, including to me. :)
