mainly because its more of a toy and not one of the actual vex kits that must be completely built i might as well use one of their kits and buy the camera seperatley
can you use both the 9.6v and 7.2v packs with the vexplorer? and it says that the reciever runs on 6 1.5v batteries meaning 9 volts in total, how can you use a 7.2 volt pack?
wow everything you said that's bad about it is right for me the wires lenth dosn't really bother me. You know how you said putting the bumper on in the back was a pain by me it was hard to and then later when I looked at it again I notised I put it on rong so I had to take it off and then put it on again now that was a really big pain.
i think i know why you dont have to good of range. it is because they changed the location of the antenna mount. if you go to vexs' website they have a revised instruction plan for where to put the antenna and it will work alot better

because all of the gears are the same you can take the motor off anf move it to any of the other axils without losing any power or speed.

The Vex kit is not the original kit either.
Innovation First made an EDUBOT kit prior to creating the Vex line.

Great job. This is pretty cool. I think you need to enter it in a robot war contest. IT looks strong. How much did this cost?
NightFlyyer 4 years ago
I picked it up on Amazon for $60.
I think they might have screwed up the price, now they are $160. Ebay has them cheaper than $160.
