Driver needs some training any real driver wouldnt have turned the car at all. Had he not turned slightly left he would have cleared the bird and the slight turn could ahve killed them at that speed. If it was really that fast. I doubt it and I love imports!!!

At 180mph he would not have had time to realize it was a bird and reacted to get out of the way of whatever was potentially going to come in contact with his wheel. Which would be far more dangerous then the slight turn which did not cause any harm.

OK we've established you know nothing about anything. Here in the UK we use MPH. Standard windscreens could easily take a bird hit at that speed seen as theyre laminated and dozens of 180mph cars have cd players. Noble M14, loads of 911s any Ferrari ect ect i could go on.

Windshields are made of tempered glass, this means they can either break entirely when hit hard enough, or not at all. Also, for the bird to go through the windshield and into the car, the bird would probably have to be facing the car head on, and in the most aerodynamic position, thus allowing it to have the most force meeting force. This bird was obviously hit from the side.

I've been in a car at well over 150mph and it didn't take off, infact 150pmh is a pretty average speed nowadays - most German cars are limited to 155, most top sports cars run between 180 and 200 and every hyper-car I can think of does over 200.

Windscreens are multi-laminated tempered glass. The entire point is that they break like that and don't shatter inwards.
