it looks quiet edited but u cant really say its fake untill u know its not wrong and obvs if their was fishing line tied to him you would see a little line or sank"
My Boston Terrier is 8 yrs Old & he used to do the SAME thing, falling in the bowl, poor little thing :) it was Hysterical!!!! He is FINE!!!!!!!!! STUPID PEOPLE
look at the unnatural way the dog slides to the side at :02-:04. That's impossible. At :06 the dogs legs are being pulled backwards by something like fishing line. It's all very staged. Dogs that tip over wouldn't have their legs go straight up in the air. Their front paws would not be able to support them like that. How can you not see it? Impossible. Staged. Fake.
I'm not being funny this is not fake coz if it's fake you have this funny felling and plus how can they fake that aswell I don't know any dogs that can do that but other than that funny?!!!!
lol. her head got 2 heavy for her. but soo cute. mine had a big head and small body when it was small aswell, and his eyes werent normal but they r now lol
@Akathepriest Now that you mention it, it does seem like the puppies legs were moving weird. And then it seems like it's back legs rise up before its even leaning over the bowl. I am inclined to agree with you.
@Metafron Truthfully this Boston terries legs did rise up weird when it Falls. But Boston terrier puppies have been known to fall into there bowl :P Ours used to headdive into his water bowl when he was younger, But he didn't like.. Fly up like that. He just more along the lines of tripped.
@mahmouds12 i have had 3 of these breeds and raised them from puppies and they have big heads when they are younger and they cannot drink or eat without thier legs coming of the ground. If u don't watch them while they eat u have to make sure they don't have any in thier noses
I've had two BT's so far. As young puppies a BT's body weight is mostly head and upper body. There is just nothing on the butt-end of them to counter-balance.....and they face dive into their water/food bowls. Their body weight distribution also explains why so many get hurt falling off furniture, stairs, and raised edges of landsscapes. They lean out to jump and fall over the edge before they are ready.
my boston does that when she pees on a tree! my mom has both of them now-bc i adopted another dog that didnt get along with them. my mom gets embarrassed! best dogs ever though. such personalities!!
OMG I used to love watching my Boston do this same thing!!!! I'm kinda sad that her body caught up to the size of her head because now she just stands on all 4's lol.
Our Boston did the same thing when she was that age. Bostons are just top heavy doggies. And patellas are knee caps. You have them, too. They sit in the hind legs in a place called the stifle and it is common in small dogs to have a condition called luxating patellas but good breeding should minimize your dog's chance of developing the problem.
Fake. I've had 9 boston terries from pups on and this never happens.
And if this was real, you'd see the head dip down as the ass goes up, like a lever. The head would mush into the bowl and then stop, but that's not what is happening. The ass just keeps rising and the pup compensates by keeping the head up.
Also, look at the beginning of the clip - you'll see his legs skip around sideways - this is caused by a string or line that is pulling the dog around.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
It looks like someone is lifting his hind legs up with a string, man is that cruel! Because look at the way the puppy walks. His hind legs are almost off the floor. People are assholes.
Boston Terrier puppies do have big head. My two Bostons when they were puppies, they did have trouble reaching down for water or food. Nothing is wrong with this video
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I think actually someone's pulling up his legs. I Also have a Boston and, even when his head is big, is not so much heavy that he can't drink water properly.
Watch at 0:03 and you will see the movement of its feet is not natural, someone's pulling the legs with a string.
My dog used to do this too when he was a puppy, and he is only half boston!! There are other similar videos on here of Bostons; it's just their big heads and small bodies that make this happen!
OMGess that is hysterical. Talk about practice makes perfect.. that pup has a ways yet to go. I don't know if BTs always grow into their heads. I have an adult female BT and she does Stevie Wonder impressions while reaching her head up for treats.
When we take our BT to the dog parks, we see a lot of other BT's and some can do that trick of lifting both back feet off the ground, usually the females and usually when peeing, believe it or not. Relax folks, this is real, no strings or wires & no abuse! Just a cute phenomenom associated with Bostons, & maybe other breeds. Some cats do it too. Peace, & love yer pets.
Sorry to spoil your ignorant observation, but you are soooo wrong. These doggies are my babies, I can't have human children. I would NEVER EVER use my baby as a puppet for anyone's amusement. Especially forcing her headfirst into a bowl of water. I am NOT an animal abuser! Take another look at yourself before you make accusations of abuse.

If you say so, then I have to take your word for it, but I'm not convinced from this footage: take another look at it (and please be impartial - try to see what I'm seeing) You see the back legs lift just a centimetre or so, then pause - as though something is holding them in place - and then continue to lift as though something is continuing to lift them.
I also don't believe a dog's head, because it's in proportion to their body size, can be that much heavier than their body.
@catbrain I've raised Boston Terriers for years and this is a normal occurrence for the pups. All of mine have done it at one time or another and it is freaking funny!!!!

Nice acrobatics, though! Do they become stronger in the front legs because of it?
