Well, you could still probably make it, but it would have to go into a less reasonable category. And after YouTube just recently featured a 'Halo 3 Rap' video under the Entertainment category, it doesn't seem like there's going to be any change to the categories anytime soon.

Huhm, I hadn't noticed it myself...I just get Cloud's videos, WiiFolder's videos, and yours and everyone else's through subscriptions.

They've been trying to crack down quite a bit lately. Why video games are that much of a problem I'm not sure, but I know things like MST3k and anime are still here, so... >_>; I dunno..

YouTube removes a lot of videos due to DMCA notices. After the incident with Viacom, they are being a bit more strict than they used to be to avoid having to go to court (but I have seen a few instances where something was removed that probably shouldn't have been).

Yeah, I immediately noticed the category's absence also, and was yet disappointed again with Youtube. But I have a feeling that Nintendo is behind it. They have been on a strong campaign for the last few months, all around the world, soliciting various government and private agencies to help them crack down on piracy. I've seen a tremendous increase in flashcard / mod-related videos just in the last several months.

This really sucks. What's the point? It was fine when the category was "Video Games" (yes, it was that before they changed it to "Gadgets & Games," so they actually changed it twice). YouTube has been going down the drain more as time goes on.

I doubt that they'd completely take away the Game videos. They're quite a big portion of YouTube's videos and almost all the videos I watch and ALL the videos I post are VG-related.

I wouldn't want to put VG movies with all the humor, celebrity, and other junk section. I would keep the VG vids in its own section.
