I think I finally understand the video: It's a contradiction to the lyrics to some point.

A party which is in reality empty, one in which through the lyrics expresses that, in fact, you can't feel like everyone else on such an empty disorder. And even though you wonder why it happens like that, you keep inside that void, yet you know and feel you don't belong in it, hence being ignored (Like how Roland is never really "into" the party).

If you look at the video deeply, you can see what I mean.
