  • first off the big bang is no longer accepted theory

second or current model requires 60 something percent dark matter dark energy

unobserved unobservable theory to force the entire known universe to fit the current model

why not just be honest and say we have no idea how the universe works?

seems the fear of God has allot to do with science these days.

it's not like everyone will run off and join the church just because science says we don't know.

  • The poem by the meo people in this video isn't the ancient poem that they have always chanted. Lots of meo people converted to Christianity and begun to change their ancient poems to reflect Biblical accounts. They have easily converted because their ancient poems had many similarities to biblical accounts, but the original forms of those poems are now lost.

  • Unless the Chinese people all have erroneous understanding of the origin of their own language despite the language being in use for thousands of years and plenty ancient text to guide them, this Biblical interpretation cannot work.

  • a real scientist would say we have no idea how any of this got here but we'll look for it. the truth is if you look at any model for how things were in history or astronomy, there is more out of place anomolies than things that fit into to official story. it all just a modern "science" labled creation myth.

  • How can anyone think that multiple planets revolved around a star of varying mass for billions of years and all the planets retain stable orbits?

The universe, scientifically, cannot be billions of years old.

  • @InternetDisciple Ignore that last comment, I realize that gravity is a constant and like to play a moronic creationist occasionally just to annoy the educated people on youtube.

  • "How can anyone think that multiple planets revolved around a star of varying mass for billions of years and all the planets retain stable orbits?"

Its called gravity. Why wouldn't they have stable orbit?

  • @sweatytoothmadman

Uh, stable orbits don't automatically happen if the level of gravity changes.

Again, how can anyone think that multiple planets that revolve around a star of varying mass for billions of years and all the planets retain stable orbits?

  • teno 22 how does nothing explode???? you should listen to yourself. Your words NOTHING

  • Nice Job Ian. Keep up the good work.

  • Golly, another Fundamentalist Christian who lies. Why, who could have expected that?!

  • Ian-I will keep you in mind when Potholer54debunks open up the floor again for nominations for the 2009 Crocoduck award. Now that Kent Hovind is in prison and is unavaialble to spew his nonsense, I believe you can easily become the next candidate for this "presgious" award. Keep up the poor work.

  • PS Ian-Lose the photographer's jacket. You are not fooling anyone.

  • "You must have matter exceeding the speed of light" Ian you are aware the the universe is expanding and space its self can expand faster than the speed of light, this is theoretically possible.

  • Good. That explains how the distant star light can be seen from earth even if it was created only 6,000 years ago. Thank you for your support.

  • How does that explain distant star light can be seen earlier?

  • The conservation of angular momentum does not conflict with our solar system or the big bang model. The rotation of a planet or planetoids can be change if enough force is applied to the opposite direction. Its like taking a swivel chair and spinning it in one direction then have someone apply enough force from the opposite side to change the direction of the spin.

Ian don't just regurgitate Kent Hovinds outdated ideas. Think man think!

  • The monkey wrench in your spokes is that if the big-bang was the beginning of things, then there was nothing else existing to have applied this force in the opposite direction that you need.

  • "then there was nothing else existing to have applied this force in the opposite direction that you need."

You're aware that any material left over can be slingshot in a different direction by the other planets orbit. The change in spin in one object be compensated for by an opposite change in spin in one or more other objects. Retrograde planets are not a violation of angular momentum because other bodies in the early solar system could account for the compensating spin.

  • Material left over? There was no material, and what material there was was all going the same direction.

  • So there is no asteroid belt, comets, or any other foreign bodies floating around our solar system.

"and what material there was was all going the same direction."

No, material is constantly be shot back and forth with the rotation of the planets, such as an asteroid being caught in a gravitational well of a planet then being ejected in the opposite direction. If it had a head on collision with another planet then that would effect the rotation.

  • Not at the time of the big bamg there weren't any of those things. There was NOTHING. Nothing to bump into, nothing to get in the way, nothing to reverse anything else's movement, nothinng to slingshot anything else, all the matter at the time was all going outward.

  • The planets that he mentioned in the video where not around during the time of the big bang so your point is irrelevant. The retrograde orbits of this solar system are the result of collisions from asteroids being bounced back and forth from other plants in our solar system.

  • Haha! And what forces, pray tell, would stop a galaxy and reverse its direction? And if it was all spinning in the same direction in the beginning, what was the first cause for that reversal! C'mon man - think!

  • nothing you can ever prove dumbass

  • Sorry for the delayed response Ian but Galaxies form from there own accretion disks which depending on the distribution of matter would then to turn any which way. This doesn’t contradict anything in known physics.

  • @sweatytoothmadman

Oh! What force exactly....just saying a force means nothing....a force would also make it spin erratically and off orbit....Think man think!

  • @sweatytoothmadman

What forces are exerting that pressure? Dark matter? Gravity? From where...they would be taken out of orbit. Think Man Think!
