Is Anderson a respectful fighter? I know he showboats in the ring, but so do other fighters. I seem to be incapable of liking fighters who don't show respect, but can't seem to determine whether Silva is confident or cocky.

I see. I feel you on that. I am just really glad to see that the majority of current champs in the UFC are very humble people. GSP, Silva and Lyoto Machida. If only we can get that meathead Brock Lesnar some respect for others! I think that he actually might turn his ways around though. He reeally opened up in his last post fight interview. Explaining that he was sorry for acting the way he has been and that it is really just a horrible habbit from the WWF. We will see next Lesnar fight.

No he doesn't. During a fight he will taunt a fighter, but that's just mind games. As far as embarassing them, well... how could he not? He makes the best look like they were fresh out of school. He is far from being disrespectful though. All is fair in love and war so to speak. During the fight ( in war ) he will own another fighter, thats his job. But outside the ring and even in it after the fight is over with, I can honestly say there are very few fighters that are as respectful.

Anderson Silva is kind of like an Arturo Gotti situation, in which he dominated his sport, but since he didn't speak English (most of the events were in the us), people felt like there wasn't a connection. If Anderson learned English I would like him a little bit more because I wouldn't have to hear what he has to say from an interpreter. Understand?
