Everyone is comparing this to Dan Osman's speed climb...Well I hate to break it to all the haters, but that climb was also a 5.7 (i.e same grade as this video). Granted it was a longer route and may look steeper, but that means that the handholds were probably really good. Also, Osman most likely had a professional recording him, who was able to make the face seem a lot more vertical. People who know nothing about climbing should keep quite. And if you do climb, realize this took some big balls!

Guys: It's slab climbing, and it's a real thing. The technique is different from that used on flat walls, but it doesn't make it less difficult. In fact, I'd probably have a harder time on a 5.8 slab than I would on a 5.8 flat.

This is amateur at best, which is fitting being that Its the first thing I have ever tried to free climb at speed so I picked an easy route. And to clear up confusion, I had to repel down the route so wearing the harness and ATC was just more convenient
