Thanks that was a long time ago. I now have it set up with a Gy401 and Futba S3154 servo. The Esky HH was rubish, don't wast your money. lern to fly the rudder using the stock rate Gyro while saving for a 401.
Read the description. its gusting 18mph winds! I can hover and ff. I was setting up the new hh gyro hence the set downs to adjust the gain on my DX6i a gust picked it up at my head then i lost sight of it for a sec. if i hadn't been able to fly i wouldn't have been able to stop it hitting the car! i flew 6 batteries today in that wind ( with light snow as well ) 2 bat's without the training gear. and the helli is still in one piece.
get a trex 600! much easyer :)

not any eayser, maybe more stable due to the size! but much more expencive! and as new pilots WILL crash that is a stupid thing to say!

take off those god darn training-gear
You can't fly in those stuff
It makes your heli sluggish as hell
Go on a sim ,crash it in a training software
Then come into real life,track your blades,Tune your ESC
You shall fly like an angle

men sorry if i've got to your nerves, but flying in such wind is not best for a belt cp hence your still are very lucky =)
