How are the rat and the parakeet getting along now? I plan on getting a bird and a rat.

thanks to you my budgie killed my rat,
it attacked my female budgie
and female budgie is strong
the rat died of injuries later at night.
let this be a lesson to all of you.

Nice setup, but rats definitely eat parakeets, I am sure you know this, but that's probably why the rat was so interested in the bird!

well actually the rat really isnt't that interested in the bird, altough he did eat some of the birds droppings..
