pretty good. young kid :) not very many people get the opportunity to play with an orchestra. move elbow in more while shifting up high to get your violin fingers to look the same as if you were in 1st position. bow fingers more curved and more on the bow, will help you relax and get rid of your lazy up bows
I agree, should work on tone and phrasing. Tone more importantly, as the instrument still sounds rather tinny. If it's the instrument then it can't really helped. Room for improvement here.
i can hear the mess-ups but i dont see why its so bad. =___= i dont have that ability to tell if its a bad performance or not. lol i need to listen to more classical
hmm, he's not so bad. Honestly he's right where he should be at, just have him practice a bit more on phrasing and color. It's just the technical things that needs to be really worked on.
why does this say curtis? I thought it meant curtis institute of music and i was hoping this would be a child prodigy... oh well, i understand the skill level of the little kid, but the orchestra sounds terrible

No problem. Anyone who performs, should be prepared to take criticisms, good or bad.

Bad Playing by Solo Violinist. Needs Practice.

Thanks for your feedback. He just turned 11, practiced hard for this event. Obviously there's much room for improvement going forward.

If you're gonna give constructive criticism, then don't just say someone is bad. Give them specifics jackass.
