This place would be a bit boring for you. With 44s and all that wheelbase, you need something a bit more challenging like Catahoula Recreation near Sicily Island. Or, if you are looking for a mud hole, Duhon's in Lafayette. My suggestion, smaller rig. Some guys are willing to make a long trip for that kind of challenge but you have to get to Arkansas, Oklahoma, or East Alabama. Unless you have some property with monster hills and deep mud pits.
We've had Broncos from 31s to 38s out there. If you get stuck (while not likely, possible) there is another 20 to 40 rigs available to help you out. I'd think a rig on 44s may make the trail a bit boring.
They can, but it is tight in spots. If trail pinstriping is an issue, I wouldn't take my fullsize out there. The hard wood area has some narrow sections that takes patience and 4 point turns to get through.
Great vids. We might bring a group down that way from Midsouthjeeps-dot-com at some point. Got some buddies who live down in Metarie and they keep tellin us there's some good wheelin to be had.
Cause, thats when I'll be able to get time off. Besides, its more fun during the summer when you can take the top and doors off :) Love to see my boys get covered in mud :))
Very cool.
