  • Bravó Tibibácsi ez a muzsika !!!!

  • Now THIS is what I call entertainment 'par excellence'! Thanks for posting! Very enjoyable listening, and I love the violin. ;- )

  • Tiszteletem Tiborbá!

    :)

  • it would be good if you write who they are, where are they from, and when it was played!

  • cimbalom = dulcimer

  • nagyonjó tibi gratulálok.

  • ez igen.vérbeli muzsikus!gratula.

  • Lukacs it's romanian or hungarian name???

  • Of course hu.

  • this music is so exciting!

    and he's so good!

how is this keyboard the big nice guy plays on in the back called?

  • It is not quite a keyboard. It is called cymbalom. With it you hit the strings with two little "hammers" to produce sound.

  • wow

    amazing!

do you know the players name?

  • Ah..Nah. I know about the instrument because there is a similar Chinese instrument; probably sharing the same ancestor centuries back.

  • Gratulálok Tibibá!^^

Szilvi voltam. Tudja, Irma néniék Szilvije. :)

  • ROM play from the SOUL and the HEART! I wish I could learn from them.. It is the emotion as well as the virtuosity of the playing that is BEYOND MERE WORDS!

He makes it seem so easy... too.

Only a ROM could get those sounds out of the violin!!!!

  • bravóó yeee

  • you have completed my life :) i've looked for this for a LONG time

  • Gratulálok. DARVAS VILI hegedüművész

  • why dont they ever post the name of the piece. anyone know what its called?

  • Hatásos bevezetés,jó produkció.vili

  • But he is a folk violinist with his own ROM style. There is some ROM influence here.

ROMS taught Paganini how to play. That's the only explanation for his music.

  • I was trained to play in a symphonic orchestra. I read music. This man reads the souls of ANGELS when he plays!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not play anything at all like this guy!

When you hear him as a FOLK VIOLINIST, you see and hear him in a different way. He plays from his heart, the way the best FOLK musicians play!

  • I always find it difficult to compare one violinist to another, due to the different styles in which they play(bow movements, etc) Especially difficult if it's folk and classical. Really difficult to compare. I'm sure you play just as well as he, in your own style. :)

  • OK. Well, in that case, it is definitely some of the best improvisation I have heard. I play violin too but not like this guy! He is amazing!

  • He definitely is! :) I take it by the other comments that you play classical? Any specific kind?

  • OK, I thought it was CLASSICAL VIOLIN! You must do different things with your FOLK music.

  • this is hungarian folk music with gypsy interpretation very little to do with classical music, and much more difficult in that there is improvisation involved

  • Somehow you just made that sound like an apology and an insult at the same time.

  • i love classical music and respect the enormous amount of work it takes to get certain things to perfection, but a lot of these hungarian virtuoso violinists have a classical background and are able to improvise variations on melodies... roby is particularly great at that!

  • Hungarian Gypsy's are the best for music, honestly.

  • So far, all I can see is that he is doing a few double and triple stops which are easy enough and he is way overdoing the vibrato to make that OH SO WEEPY SOUND and running the fingers up and down that sound board. Why is the bow shaking when he went? I guess he is laughing while he hams it up!

  • All I can see is someone playing great folk music on the violin. You are an idiot.

  • This is not classical for him... its folk...

So we treat it with ease and understanding...

  • you don't understand music as you don't understand many other things, do you ?

    Lukács Tibor is a genius

  • ez igen odabasz... ;D

  • Well, this made me cry, so passionate, I am becoming addicted to Hungarian gypsy music...thanks!

  • Gypsy and other Eastern European violin just has so much passion in it.

  • @kjcon54 hungary is central europe...... i know its not that important but honestly, to europeans it is. Please if you respect our music take the time to make sure you understand the countries as well....

  • Thank you for such GENIUS! I am an American Serbian who was inspired to try violin at the late age of 51! But I so much LOVE this style of violin better than Classical I will keep trying and practising just to get a "little" better each year!
