@ orchestrationonline-I agree! Everything else I've seen by Margaret Cho has been stellar. It seems a blessing for her that this show didn't take off. She was the weak link in the cast. So disingenuous!! Must not be her media. She's so great doing standup!

Eeesh....terrible script, and horrible accents. I'd like to see a show with Asian Americans as central characters, but not so much focus on the fact that they're Asian; sort of like That 70's Show...it was a show about real people with real problems who just happen to live in the 70's...

Really impressed that this show even got to air....hope someone is able to revive the concept of an Asian American sitcom soon....

Wow, this show looks like it was actually funny. Anyway I enjoyed, I'm somewhat surprised about the low ratings, anyway that was a long time ago. i'd love to see a new sitcom based around an Asian Family, I'm sure it'd do much better. It's important in our country to explore various cultures, values and ways of life.

They were all good comedic actors, the premise was solid, and they had an audience. But the writers messed things up. If it were really based on the standup comedy of Cho, as the credits claim, then it would have been drop-dead hilarious from start to finish, not just passably funny.
