a friend of mine had this as bootleg about 20 years ago (Cd version) and i was able to find an mp3 of it about a year or so ago
i wish i could figure out why garcia and lesh decided to remaster aoxomoxoa--there must be a back story of some sort...?

@psyclops9 According to Rock Scully from his narrative. Jerry and Healy had spent a long time mixing it as one continuous piece and stumbled on recording innovations in the process, in trying to deliberately make it one continuous psychedelic live, Dead in a bottle like piece. But after all that simple realized they wouldn't make any money that way considering the marketing process and had to remix it to add the stops and felt like they had wasted money learning as they went.

@spacemeddle This has been making the rounds for a little while, it used to be readily available in lossless on Archive.org, but I believe that has changed over the years. I'm sure there's a torrent out there somewhere, though.
