  • great cover of a great song....

  • Thomas has the love and emotion.

  • Super.

  • Man, how come we haven't heard more about you guys! This is how it should be done.

  • Don't you just love it !?

behold a great and gifted band who know how to entertain ... and do GREAT songs!

"Was it all good?" Yes it was,...in the most wonderful way it was ALL good( and I'm a musician and I know this to be true)

LOVE IT! .. thank you Pugwash for being better than 90% of ALL the things that gets posted on youtube ...

    am i right..or am I ..left ?

    :~0

  • Astounding version of a great song. I've been championing Pugwash to my mates here in Dublin for years now. It saddens me that they are so criminally underappreciated. Hopefully with the Andy Partridge label deal and the Duckworth Lewis Method they'll finally get the exposure they so thoroughly deserve!

PS I also must thank them for bringing XTC guitar deity Dave Gregory onstage in Whelans a couple of years back.

  • Wonderful voice! Great rendition

  • Beautiful. What a gorgeous voice, man. Good version.

  • The other guy imitates nicely Jeff Lynne´s

    nasal voice !

  • This a very faithful and excellent Cover of The Idle Race, Cool as beans!

  • Cool - even a bit Queeny when the guitar comes in at the endish.

  • that doesn't surprise me at all - the guys did a version of Radio GaGa for a TV show around this time (it's somewhere on youtube).

  • not a surprise as I read somewhere that apparently a young Brian May met Jeff Lynne when he was in the Idle Race to learn how he got some of his guitar sounds

  • Nice version guys!

  • All this AND the ahem 'shabbyroad' studios setting with Neil in a psychadelic shirt and a John Lennon 1967 haircut! Ahh bliss.

  • When I shut my eyes listen I ELO. Very good!

  • Great song! I didn't realise it was well known enough to be redone, but you guys did a fantastic job.

  • Ah splendid! The love for the tune obviously shines through in the performance! I wonder if you'll try and approximate the huge boingy bass guitar sound of the original during the final mixing stage. I'm greatly looking forward to the new album!
