i huz question. if there are toxic spikes on the field, if a poison type goes on the field, it absorbs the t spikes, am i rite? but what if weezing switches in, since it has levitate, will it take the t spikes away? pls answer sum1

oh yeah i forgot imprion is great for me because i hate it when people get to use brine because a few of my 352 pokemon know it because i breed eevee's i own 67 vapoureon's, only 3 flareons, 27 joleteons, 83 umbreons, 15 leafeons and 7 espeon and 1glaceon and then 149 other pokemon because my female vaoureon lv 70 and male lucario lv 100 left in the day care centre breed eevee egs so this took me over 10 weeks or so i'm not counting

A long time ago, I once made an Azelf with Imprison, Trick Room, Explosion, and Protect with Focus Sash to keep the opponent from using those moves, which are more common in Double Battles, against my own Doubles team. Although it somewhat makes Azelf seem less threatening (since its only offensive move is Explosion), it could make the opponent focus on Azelf in order to be able to use Trick Room, Protect, or Explosion again, which leaves Azelf's teammate free to attack the opponent's team.

Anyways, I believe that Imprison lasts for as long as the user of Imprison remains on the field, so switching out would probably not work in order to be able to use the sealed moves again.

imprison must be really effective with moves that are very common. especially in doubles for example earthquake and protect (likely the most common moves ever)

I understand how Endeavor works very well. In fact, I've designed a number of Pokémon builds that make usage of Endeavor, many of which use Endure+Custap Berry instead of Focus Sash+priority move.

Anyways, I'm also hoping for Power Swap and Guard Swap, though if Gigatitan gets to do a Move Guru on them, I'd expect him to fit in both moves in one video since they function similarly, yet have some distinct quality that still makes each one unique.

Imprison is sorta more of a gimmick move. Especially in 4th gen. It wasn't half bad in R/S/E because every third pokemon had hidden power, and earthquake was extremely common. Now, there are so many moves and viable options, Imprison wouldn't be so great.
