are you still making the english patch for akai ito? i'm just wondering how well it's going on and is it still under work. i'd really like to see the full story translated :)
@wandering1976 The actual game is interactive so you can read it as fast or as slow as you like. The video has the lines on max speed because (1) I read that fast, and (2) I'm too lazy to change it for vid capping.
man,I totally support your translation!!I bet if it had a PC version(like the successor of this game,Aoi Shiro did)it would have been a lot easier to make a patch than doing on a PS2,huh?
@johnnysasaki It's not my translation (yet; eventually I'll get to the Sakuya route). It wasn't significantly different for PC vs. PS2, actually. In fact, the tools I wrote work for both games (with small modifications), and I'll probably eventually update the Aoi Shiro translation to fix bugs addressed with my tools.
@johnnysasaki I don't see why not, eventually. There are a number of English errors, as well as technical bugs that can be fixed with better tools, etc.
@johnnysasaki I don't think anyone wants to translate the encyclopedia. But the interface/images are likely to be translated later (it's not a priority for me)
Is this translation still being worked on? I'm really anxious to play this game in English. Thank you for posting several clips!

How come the little subtitles flash by so quickly? It's not even slow enough to pause and read them D: >

@Shizukadamare
that's nice,since the current patch doesn't have most of menus and ecyclopedia translated(Syouko's narration intro isn't translated either)
