That last accident was likely the result of the TWT ( Green ) truck driver falling asleep. I know from exp , for some reason, dawn is a very dangerous time. Drivers that have been driving since early morning in the darkness can become drowsy. The only thing to do, is pull over as soon as you begin to feel that way, take a power nap, a walk around the truck, inspect it, perhaps, after 15-30 min most of the time you will feel much more alert/awake.
I fell asleep on a motorcycle once, drove through a sign and off into the desert. Talk about rude awakenings. Guess what, I had been driving all night and it was just after sunrise. A trucker was talking to me as I rolled around on the ground in pain asking what happened. I told him and he said all truckers know to pull off the road at sunset and sunrise.
