this "gay mariege" issue is simply to keep americans divided. Should gay people be allowed to marry? I think so but its nots something I think about. We are losing american soldiers lives each day in afganistan over a pipeline that has zero influencw on the lives of american.

America is all about freedom. That is what makes this country great. So, if two men want to be married or two women, they should be allowed. I completely agree with same sex marriage. Sure, it isn't for every one but it only makes sense. Every one in America should be entitled to happy live free from prejucice and hatred.
Why should only gay people have rights to marry? Why can't underage marriages, polygamy, incest, and any other kinds of people that have alternative lifestyles have marital rights to? what makes the gays better than the rest of these guys?
Interesting questions. I think our laws pertaining to minors is unfair to them. I do not feel as though I am any different now, other than older, than I was when I was under aged. the problem is, under the age of 18, kids are controlled by their parents. As for polygamy and incest, I also agree with you. It isn't my thing nor is gay marriage but who are we to tell others how to live their life?
Wow that is deffinetely a horrible analogy. For one Gay marriage are two consenting SANE adults that want to form a monogamous relationship. Children are affected because they are still under their parents jurisdiction and it is a power situation where an older person takes advantage. As for polygamy that is many wives and it is a form of greed. Incest also deals with a power struggle. Gays should not be categorized with those groups because that would be a category mistake read the DSM

I agree with Arnold on this, on the basis that he has his views, but like he said, he doesn't want other's to be affected by them.
I agree that people have different views on same-sex marriage, but the majority shouldn't rule the minority.

The real problem is using the bible to enforce rules.Marriage is a religious
tradition that should be taken out of our laws.Change ALL unions to civil unions.
Church traditions do not belong in our government.
