I agree that it would be cool to have an elevation control but I use it to teach robotics to six to ten years old. I also demonstrate it in public places. It is safe having a fixed aiming point.

ya , you could put a motion sensor on it , like the one on wallfishes, which will shoot when it detects movement in front of it. but if the sensor works because of motion the motion of roomba would be detected as motion and it wont shoot everyttime roomba moves.

what you should do is attach a flash light...a digital pellet counter so you know when you run out...idk if that was a lazer light or a LED but you should attach a lazer light for accuracy.line the inside of the ammo magizine except the top with felt so its quieter but if you cant see the digital display u can guess how many are in there.and add one of those cheap..automotive reverse cameras to the front so you can see where its going in a diffrent room

What kind of gun did you use to make that?

not sure of the exact model or brand.

I bought it on sale at Sports Authority for $20.

it is a small M-16 looking gun,clear so you can see the motor and gears, runs on 4 AA batteries. I cut off the barrel surround and the stock. I cut the magazine and handle flush so it would glue to a base plate. will post more picks to my website soon.

i have seen better, more easily adaptable guns online. you probably could use just about any electric powered gun my main consideration was price.
