  • Perfect!

  • great work!

  • @MarkusGitarre

    Thank you for saying so.

Such a great composer Jimmy Page, I could spend years just learning his arrangements.

  • Not three bad at all Lee! Damn tricky one

  • @prboyd

I remember the first time I got Led Zeppelin IV ( all those years ago!) and heard this solo...Wow!!!!.

At that time, I didn't understand that what I was hearing where Multiple Guitars playing in Harmony, I just knew that it sounded bloody marvellous!

I could sit for hours just playing the main Riff itself ( simple, but effective - like a lot of Jimmy's stuff...genius)

  • That's a good sound

  • Man, don't know how you do that! Very cool Lee!

  • That was excellent! BTW, I have the exact same Red Variax 500. :-)

Yeah, they are a great little Guitar for multiple sounds ( humbucker - single coil - 12 string etc etc...)

But they have a terrible neck...don't know about yours, but mine is a beast to play ( bends choke-difficult to get a good vibrato etc etc..)

Still, I believe the newer models sorted must of those problems.

I swapped the original 500 neck out for another one I found on ebay. I like it much better. That being said... I also own the Variax 700 metallic Goldtop that you saw in my Bon Jovi cover. The neck is much sweeter on the 700. Now I don't play my 500 as often!
