i played clarinet before i taught my self how to play oboe, while you don't have to do this it makes it a lot easier to learn if you have another instrument under your belt. about the song. it is kind of weird. but in a good way. two of my favorite things got put together. anime and music, particularly in the oboe department.

I have no idea who is the performer, but i have listened to other interpretations of this concerto, and this one always gives me bumps. Just incredible, they did this anime really well. Kudos for the player!!! Cant able read japanese otherwise i could find out who it is.

@klkp2 Most people would say that oboe has a much steeper learning curve (and price) than clarinet, but they don't really share any part of technique except learning to listen for good intonation and breathing, however you just as well might pick up a trombone first.

Omg love Kuroki-kun and this is one of my favourite songs on the series. Also I love his voice (since he's also Kyouya in Ouran High School Host Club~)

Oboe is so underrated... This concerto is great, I love the first movement. I remember watching this anime like two years ago, and I still think that Kuroki is weird but cute ( is his own way )
