Kids In The Hall didn't rip off anything, all their skits were original and they didn't even do parodies like so many other sketch comedy shows did at the time. Pure genius.
@lanedenson Poor us Canadians... Sunken to the point of being called ignorants by an actual genuine ignorant. :) Even saying: ''Typical!'' seems just too easy...
@Cenamark2 Uh, what? Educate yourself. KITH never ripped off anything in their entire lives. This show had more originality and humor in one episode than SNL has had over the course of its entire miserable unfunny run.
@Cenamark2 God, you're a fuckin' idiot. This Kids In the Hall sketch pre-dates SNL's Goth Talk by at least five years. Do your homework before opening your ignorant trap, moron!
Is there anything more annoying then when people type lines from the video in the comments section?! It's like, YES I know they said that...I just fuckin watched the damn thing!
I think this along with the Buddy sketch became responsible for the SNLalization of Kids in The Hall. They became monsters that were milked unmercilously, ultimate making the entire show less funny.
Damnit! Youtube muted it!

Do they lack originality in Canada. This is just a rip of SNL's Goth talk.

@Cenamark2 Kids in the Hall ran from 1988-1994. SNL's Goth Talk sketches date from 1997 to 1999.
