  • LOL. y do people make reviews on rlly bad helicopters for new pilots and ""show mechanics"" anybody could just look at it and see all the mechanics it has. foam. thats bassicly were ur $75 is going. to plastic and foam

  • my parents just got me a 4 channel helicopter that was apparently over 180$ and ofcourse i crashed it because ive never done this before went out today and bought 3 extra bodies and 4 extra sets of wings.. any tips please im desperate!

  • @TheRemedyCA Go slow and read radds school of rotary flight

practice nose out flight low to the ground until your confident then move on slowly to nose left and right then nose in. it takes time and a lot of crashes but it's worth it if you don't give up.

  • @TheRemedyCA I would recommend practicing your hover very close to the ground. Anything goes wrong cut the throttle and no harm done. Try and practice this a lot and before you try anything else make sure the heli is always facing away from you that way you wont get confused with inverse controls(which are very difficult). The better and closer to the ground you hover the less damage you do

  • I have a silverlit Z-Century heli and it is identical to the helix 360 literally!

  • I am just waiting for u to fly it into ur face hahahahahaha

  • I got a 4 channel 2.4 ghz heli that is the same size, fixed pitch, and is stable and can fly super fast even in wind! $30 instead of $80. You should do a review on it, it's called the Xieda 9958 by Great Wall. It's awesome!

  • @knexfun I'll definitely check it out if I have a chance, the prices are coming way down.

  • pls answer. how many grams of clay do you put on the heli's back?

  • @lame3x I usually use electrical tape instead of clay. I cut out little triangles of tape and stack them up on the tail fin one at a time until it hovers in mid air, it takes maybe 5 or 10 of them.

When I used clay it was a ball the size of a large pea but it didn't stay on well and it can pull off the paint because some clay reacts with paint and polishes on furniture. Some clay can actually melt foam and plastic as well as finished surfaces.

  • Wow that looks very nice! I've flown a lot of Havoc's, as well as the old Helix, and this looks leaps above what they were. My only comment would be that at the same price point, you can get a Blade MCX RTF. If they came down to under $50, it may be a viable option.

  • i got this but whenever i try to fly it it never goes straight up only it glides to the right even when i try to trim it

  • i think i'm getting that for Christmas! :D

  • 32$ and you can get a full function 2.4gh 4 channel heli (all direction gyro meaning it's extremely stable, way more than this) and they also carry a full line of parts for it but it's basically really hard to break (unless you step on it) anyways hobby king .com and look at the coax micro helis.

  • @javamochacocoa good price, but sometimes it's worth spending a few dollars extra to get product support like airhogs offers.

  • If a heli is 4ch that means it has foward, reverse, left, right, aswell as roll ? I been looking at bigger models on lower budget but 4ch i have looked at dont always say they roll from left to right

  • @BoY860 the 4th channel is usually roll but not every heli calls it that, i usually try to look for some mechanism that will actually control roll yaw and forward reverse like a swash plate or fans, you can usually tell by looking at pictures close enough.

  • I got the GYRO 4ch Mini Sky Thunderclap heli from ebay for 20$ (rip off of helix 360) but not worth it. The tail rotor stopped working caz the white plastic teeth plate crank thingy (idk what it's called) got messed up and heli started spinning...

  • @archedperson I've seen a lot of 40 dollar 4 channel helicopters recently. mostly coaxial but a lot of single rotors as well. and most with no name brand.

  • @taoistflyer I decided to order a Nine Eagles solo pro for 65$ Can't wait to get it.

  • @archedperson I have one and it has some really nice points, but don't push it to hard, it has a problem with the fly bar hitting the tail boom if you turn or bank to quickly.

I like the battery, I've used it in a number of other applications like powering my hex bug spider or testing polarity on micro magnetic servos.

  • I just got this rc, and its flight is nothing like this demonstration.

No matter how much I trim, it keeps spinning. Any time I use the right joystick to tilt. It makes the heli drop 5 feet. It continuously drops the longer it runs so there is no idle hovering.

  • @Kman1595 only at night, during the day the sun would block the IR signal. However if you live somewhere that has a lot of snow fall you might be able to fly it on an overcast day because the snow helps reflect the IR signal to the receiver just like your walls in the house do.

  • oh MY GOSH I am related to this guy!

  • which would you recommend?

The Helix 360 or the Sharp Shooter?

  • @Aceofspades167 the helix 360 any day.

  • the best time to probably fly an ir chopper is at night when the sun goes down and just carry a flashlight with you

  • i have to say that it would be epic if you could mount a lightweight mini cam on this or for airsofters like me mount a little single shot spring airsoft gun hahahahahahaha great video

  • grrr I WANT THIS CHOPPER but my mom wont let me get it because shes afraid ill break something she dont rember that i had a shit load of choppers and nothing ever broke well except the choppers them selves

  • @Mrblaze0505 it would be very hard to break something with this little helicopter. the rotors are not very fast and it is almost weightless. you're more likely to break the helicopter before you would break a lamp or light.

The helicopter is very durable and great for indoor environments.

  • how much is it??

  • @tamame30 I got this one last year, and they wear selling for about 70 bucks then, it's a great heli and it's really easy to fly, but it's also very capable.

  • @tamame30 I got mine about a couple months ago for 59.99 at Target and it flies great. As taoistflyer says this is a great trainer heli for more advanced 4 channel helis. I have a Blade MSR now that would no doubt have needed heavy repairs had I not first practiced on a stable heli 4-channel such as this.

  • @Gabrielwinning unfortunately it is IR controlled, so it wont want to fly outside, the sunlight will blind the IR receiver and their would need to be no wind at all.

  • Is sharpshooter better or helix360 please answer thx

  • I went ahead and added some electrical tape. It is extremely stable and yet still pretty fast. I am getting used to flying it now and getting ready to get a Blade msr or a CB100. Any advice? I hear the cb100 is more stable outside due to weigh but doesn't self balance as well as the msr so maybe I am not ready for a cb100 yet. any thoughts?

  • @SecretSword i love the MSR, it's from a well known company who has a good reputation for making amazing aircraft, it's small size is great for indoors, but it's fast enough for outdoor flights, it's very well designed and very stable. when your ready to move up to a single rotor it's definitely the way to go.

  • @taoistflyer Thanks for your help! I just ordered my MSR! The only thing I dislike with Helix 360 is the wait time while I recharge it. I got the heli-bug now...no turning back! I ordered the chinese knockoff version of the MSR as well since it was cheap so I can see the comparison and have a heli to run with those 3.7 batteries should I need to wait for repair parts om my MSR. I made sure to get 10x 160 batteries and I love the 4bank charger E-flight includes in the MSR RTF package

  • @SecretSword It's got you good, you sound like your going to have some serious flight time ahead of you, it'll be nice to have multiple helis to compare flight performance, and the 4 port charger and large set of batteries should keep you pretty much in the air until your ready to land. the MSR is great for some real flight, but sometimes the knockoffs are a lot of fun to conquer, they have their limitations, but they have their strong points as well.

keep flying and I'll see you in the air.

  • @taoistflyer Ya even though it's seems to have been a reverse engineered MSR there are some points of difference I know from research:

MSR: upgradeable TX and advanced swash settings...lots of cool CNC Alum

    Knockoff: none

And important to note: Batteries are interchangable but chinese charger doesn't have a shut-off. The batteries shut off when they reach full charge. MSR charger has the voltage detector and not the batteries so using msr battery with chinese charger would be dangerous.

  • I just got my Helix for 59.00. Worth every penny. I need to put some clay on the tail...how much should I use? could you tell me the approx weight or volume of clay used on the end of your tail?

  • @SecretSword i ended up using about 5-10 pieces of electrical tape stack up and cut out in the shape of the tail, it didn't fall off as easy and it wont affect the paint.

  • @taoistflyer: Thank you for the excellent review. Have you encountered any main-rotor steering problems with the Helix 360, and if so, have you found a good permanent fix? Long story short, I opened the heli to figure out why it was unsteerable and discovered that one of the steering pins had gotten caught under the collar at the rotor base. It needs longer steering pins to prevent the collar from hopping up onto them, but maybe there's a different fix?

  • @jeffdrouin I never had that problem, but it sounds like you really know what your doing, figuring out whats wrong is sometimes the hardest part. the person i would ask is EQMOD, he basically invented this type of swash plate, he makes youtube videos about his advancements all the time, he is really brilliant, if anyone has a solution to your problem he does.

  • ah dude still has the rabbit ear antannae

  • damn it...

here i thought there would finally be a 4 channel helicopter thats cheap... -.-

    still around 60 bucks... -.-

  • @WhiteValkery if you go onto ebay you can get a whole bunch of 30 and 40 dollar 4 channel coaxial helicopters, some are even 2.4 Ghz.

  • @taoistflyer

    O.o seriously!?

  • @WhiteValkery for $60 bucks, i think it's a bargin! i LOVE mine, it is great almose 7 months old

  • go to target to get it for 60 bucks

oh yeah how come im a begginer but i fly it kinda good?

  • go to target to get it for 60 bucks

  • do you think that airhogs will ever get into outdoor helicopters???

  • @flyboyjuelz they have a lot of outdoor aircraft products so it wouldn't surprise me, but outdoor helicopters are much different then indoor ones, they have to be able to fight wind, so they have to be powerful and fast enough to fly 15 or more miles per hour to fight light winds, and fast helicopters are hard to control for new pilots. they can get away from you pretty quick.

they do have the osprey full tilt airplane/heli that is an outdoor aircraft.

  • @taoistflyer some questions, do you know any good rc planes that arnt that hard to control and doesnt go too high, 3 channel is nice(I like glider-like ones that are under 60-70 dollars. I;ve had enough experience, had some air hogs products. also, do you know a good outdoor rc heli's, 60 dollar is max.

  • @ChaozMKW do a search for e flight airplanes.

their are a few in the 70 dollar range but most are a little more expensive, around 100 bucks, but they are the top notch micro park fliers, 2.4 Ghz ARF mostly. some are 3 channel some are 4 channel, and some can do some really nice aerobatics, most of them are sold at the major hobby retailers, and the e flight line is well supported.

  • @flyboyjuelz On their new website (100% new!! the osprey is ON-GOING!!!!!) there is an outdoor helicopter called the gryphon. It is 3ch. w/ a gyro, seems pretty cool!

  • @dittsboylogan I'm going to have to check that out, air hogs has made some pretty cool and sturdy outdoor aircraft.

For years with outdoor aircraft one crash was the end of it, but airhogs aircraft are designed to survive lots of hard crashes.

  • Being you've had this for a while, does the rechargeable battery in the helicopter kill out after some time that's one issue I have found in flying and enjoying airhogs. The battery after about three months loses the ability to hold a charge.

Thanks looks like great fun! Good review, how's it do outside?

  • @magiceddie88 It has an amazing battery,

I left mine sitting for over a month with a full charge, i picked it up turned it on and it flew for 7 minutes, then it fully charged in the standard 20-25 minutes.

out of all the airhogs aircraft, this one has the best battery, it charges quicker, lasts longer, and performs great.

    store the batteries charged however,

when storing lithium batteries for more then a month it is recommended to drain them down half way, but NEVER drain them down all the way.

  • does it have proportional controll??

  • @shattysnapin yes it does.

  • thanks

  • Great review. Looks like a great little heli for beginners and experienced who just want to play around the house.

  • @buddy1065 thanks for watching, it is a great introduction into rc helicopters, airhogs and silverlit did a great job with it.

  • Remember I have a reflex

  • @2applecider sorry, i don't know if the reflex has a spare tail, you may need to super glue your old one back together.

  • would a split tale cause it to problems

  • @2applecider yes, a split tail will cause problems.

inside the helicopter package their is a spare tail.

replace the tail and it will help.

  • Nice review.... But it looks like time to clean urself up, lose the toys, jewfro, and find a woman!

  • @Neuman357 thanks for watching,

now lets see what all is wrong with your comment,

first my girlfriend was filming this, she's been with me helping me on my videos for a few years.

    And she's great in bed.

Next the "toys" as you call them are extremely fun and profitable, plus they have given me more then 12 million video views and a few thousand subscribers, so nothing wrong their.

As for the hair, other then your anti Semitic statement, your right i do need a haircut and a shave.

  • its 60 dollars now at target

  • im having toubkle with the trim

  • @superhotdog1689 I usually have to spin my trim really far to make a difference in the spin, for anything else like forward reverse you need to weight the heli on one side to change the center of gravity.

  • taoistflyer i really like your videos they are way better than rcmaniadotcom thanks for posting such great videos

  • @TheNameIsCobb thank you I try, check out my light cycle video that i just posted, i've been working on it for a few weeks.

  • I posted a video so check my videos and it will be the only one their it is called Airhogs problems

  • The one you have seems to fly a lot better than the one they reviewed at RCmania. Theirs oscillates after every turn.

  • @zeroturbulence it takes some heli skills to fly well, he's more of a car guy so it's understandable that his doesn't fly as well.

  • Where do i pick one up?!?!

  • After watching this video I went out and bought me one for $40 at Radio Shack =P. Awesome video man, such detail and its very informative! Keep up the great work. Although, sadly to say. My Helix360 that I bought is broken right out the box =(. I have no forward, back, strafe left, strafe right control. I think the 4 fingers that control the "swash plate" collar thing for the blade pitch is broken. I only get noise and no movement when I have it sitting still and use the right stick.

  • @modernart86 you should definitely get it exchanged, air hogs is usually reall good about replacing defective aircraft.

  • @taoistflyer Thanks taoistflyer. I actually went to Radio Shack and had it exchanged since I had it for only a few days. I ended up paying an extra $6 for a 1year exchange warranty so no needing to go through air hogs directly and having to wait for shipment time. Anyway, I exchanged the defective one for another one and I'm loving it xD! It's a great heli.

  • Taoistflyer I have a reflex helix and I trim it like crazy but it is still really unstable and it spins can you help?

  • @2applecider I'll try can you post some video of it, maybe that would help.

  • Wow , looks like this post got a bit off subject. I got a question for you. I tried as I have done with many of my " Little" heli's to add some weight to the nose for faster forward flight and on this Hog, it must have messed up the Gyro or something. I tried to fly it 100 times after I took the weight off and it just went crazy, and then after holding it steady in my hand about ten times out of no where it just started working right again. Have you ever seen this before? Can u make it faster?

  • Yes that control is crazy i trimmed the shit out of it and still does not have this much control at all ... i did not put anyway weight on it at all , but still i cant make it go left or right without it going crazy ... and suggestions ?

  • @NiggaPlease2222 it takes a lot of control to make it drift left right or to go in reverse, air hogs suggest not just pushing in the direction you want to go but also rocking back and forth, so to go backwards you push reverse and rock the stick left and right, it's not quit like flying an MSR that's full out balls to the walls fast, but at the same time as stable as a rock.

  • @taoistflyer Gotcha

  • awsome sound quality while filming and informitive.

    Thanks for the vid!

  • @braddock001 Thank you very much, I try to make it as enjoyable to watch as a I can. I looked at your channel and I have to say WOW I am very impressed, you are a very skilled individual, and i absolutely LOVE your collection, you have really good taste and a lot of talent.

I subscribed and would love to stay in touch, i would love to work with you on a project in the future. my first love was always special effects creatures and robots.

  • @taoistflyer

Thanks for the kind comments .Hope to stay in touch and help in any way that I am able.Doing a remote controle lawn mower soon. I might need some pointers with rc stuff. Private message me ..

    Brad C .

  • What is that crazy looking thing on top of your depth challenged TV? @6:31

  • @audiodrew1 those are what grandmas and grandpas call rabbit ears, an ancient technology dating back many decades used to sell soap to the masses through cleverly disguised radio and TV broadcasts.

  • All we need now is a Miniature New York AWESOME!!!

  • Got this helicopter too but i dont know why my copter is orange. Maybe not same brand but basicly totally same 4 ch. it felt well until i buy Z008. Now it feels like toy, because plastic feeling on it. But this fellow can fly very agressive way if u are experienced it take much more small winds that Z008 even suckownself on walls if u go too near them because wind punch back from walls what helicopter do.

  • Got this helicopter too but i dont know why my copter is orange. Maybe not same brand but basicly totally same 4 ch. it felt well until i buy Z008. Now it feels like toy, because plastic feeling on it.

  • I think I saw an esky Honeybee FP on your shelf.

Is this much easier to fly than the HBFP?

    Thanks, great vid.

  • @donmei it was the esky honey be CP, and it was a pain in the ass to tune it and keep it flying.

  • @theairsoftsniper26 We can't all be badass airsoft snipers like you.

  • I have one of these and have a few comments...

I've found it best to give it some juice to get it off the ground quickly, then back off on the throttle. Slow takeoffs are just not possible - it'll keep skidding across the floor until it crashes.

It seems to move around at first once in the air, then I presume some internal gyros will stabilize it. If you fight this initial stage by using the controls it never seems to find it's balance.

  • For the money and what you get would you recommend this or the Z-series Z008?

  • @Will42591 I recomended buy both of them and Nine Eagle 312A, (Z008 i buy it with 9 €) but Air Hogs cost 50 € for me.

Z flying time is longer, but feels like a toy. it have beter Batery and it end almost suddently when u still fly. Not so quiet.

Z008 feels stronger and it is made by metal mostly. Not so effective batery end slowly. more quiet and beter noise than Air Hogs.

  • @Will42591 buy the helix 360 definitely, it's more stable, flies longer, charges quicker, and is lighter and stronger.

  • impressive heli from air hogs. I am enjoying the sharpshooter now but would like to get this so I can practice on a lower scale heli to improve my control on my belt cpv2 which I always seem to crash.

  • @zcxvasdfqwer1234 Cp helis are a pain in the ass to learn to fly, this heli should really help you get some of the basics down much cheaper and safer.

  • Just got this for Christmas and I can't wait to give it a go!

  • This is obviously awesome. but how long to charge and how long to fly????

  • I am getting one for christmas.

  • Comment removed

  • its about time but a bit pricey for an ah when you can get a solo pro for less

  • @daplaneflyer no collective pitch helies can only be 6 channel. This one is a fixed pitch

  • @traxxasfan321 - you can throw that term out the window when talking about and air hog.

  • @TheFreshPeddler What?

  • MIne has sucky battery storage I charge for like 20 -15 minutes and I fly 10 minutes.

  • I have a 4 channel heli but it looks why different.

it has propellers oh the side top and the end

  • What did u doing behind that small table? :)

  • Also, Air Hogs sucks because for most of their aircraft they you charge through the controller, which drains your AA batteries. For the Japanese ones they give you a USB cable and you could charge through the computer.

  • @johnny4631 I have compared charging batteries with a USB cable and I have notice it takes a lot long to charge. And with quick charge rechargeable batteries. its not really that much of a time saver, in my opinion.

  • This thing is a piece of shit. It's so loud and made of plastic. Get one in Japan for 5500 yen (about $70 US). It'a almosst full metal, quiet, and smooth. Also 4 channel. Air Hogs has plastic and foamies, they suck.

  • is that collective pitch?

  • Hi. I just wanted to say thanks. Being a newbie into this whole RC Heli/Plane thing, I was lost at what to get. After searching several reviews I came upon your videos and it helped me a lot. I ended up getting this Helix 360 and the Osprey Full Tilt and I am loving both of them. Great job on the videos!

  • I hope so, I'm begining to think Air Hogs has some kind of deal with the battery industry.

  • Since this is a gift for Xmas and I can't inspect it yet , do you know if it uses the same plug as the Airhog that came with an ac plug charger? The one with the 2 fans on the sides, I think I have seen one on a video of yourd?

  • @sparky0308 it's a newer plug that they just started using, it has a square black plug. i don't know if the reflex used it, hopefully they'll come out with a universal wall charger

  • @taoistflyer nice video, is it fast at all?

  • they should make a 4-channel heli mixed with the sharpshooter!! that would be sick!!!!

  • I just got mine in today and wanted to ask if you know of a mod that allows for USB charging or wall socket like the the Helix I belive, the one with the two fans on the sides, it had a wall charger and I loved it. Charging from the controller goes through tons of AA batts and takes so much longer then USB and 120v. Some of my other micros that did not come with USB chrgers I just used the cable from another and it worked fine but with this one I don't have the luxury of replacing the batt if...

  • @sparky0308 you would need to make your own charging cable since the helix uses the airhogs 2 way charging plug, but it would probably work.

Personally i use rechargeable batteries in my transmitter, i get a full charge in about 25 minutes, about 8 or 10 minutes of flight, and about 13 or 15 charges per set of batteries.

  • hey taoistflyer thanks for all the great reviews, me and my family really enjoy your reviews

  • im gonna have to snatch me one for black friday at radio shack..its on sale for 49.99...

  • The weights above the main rotor blades are stuck in a full forward and right position. I lift it off the ground an it just moves in that direction. I lose control of it. I took it to the store and the guy at the store seemed to be able to hover better. He exchanged it for a new one. The process repeats itself again when I get home. Charged, lift off and lo and behold, dull forward and right. With the left stick all the way back, I move the right stick and there isn't a whole lot of move

  • @sobeclubber This helicopter does take a little more practice to get the hang of, when you first lift off from the ground it is going to always want to drift right, all single rotor helicopters do, you need to learn to compensate for it.

You may actually have an easier time hand launching it, i know it sounds strange, but with a hand launch the rotor is already up to speed, and you don't need to fight ground effect.

also google RADDS school of rotatory flight it's a helpful site.

  • theres one thing i can do with my sharp shooter that i cant do with this chopper...shoot missles

  • $52.99 online at Radio Shack

  • Taoistflyer, I'm so jealous of your flying skill. How long have you been flying? You seem to have more fun with the toy quality helis than the more expensive ones, although I see you have those too. Bravo man, bravo!

  • @pcelf thank you

I've been flying for about 4 years now, and i love micro rc aircraft, but i also love to fly 3D, but it's always been a little pricey so i don't get to do it as much as I would like.

  • @taoistflyer Oh I forgot to ask, does the Helix 360 have a gyro? Just curious

  • @pcelf it does have a piezoelectric gyro.

  • Hi! First of all, congrats for the video!

    HELP!

Im searching an online store to buy this awesome heli, Can someone help me? im from spain and im having problems to find a shop for buy it. Any info or adress from an online store can help me! thank You very much. Sorry for my english i learned it by my self :P.

  • @Armabelico go onto google

at the top of googles main page you will see a button that says shop

    click it

then search for air hogs helix 360 and you will see a list of everyone selling it.

  • @Armabelico go to toys r us

  • Bought mine at Radio Shack...it's fun. I fly the big Raptor 90's and can honestly say, for just $79.99..I like it. : )

  • I just got one of these, and WOW they have quite a bit of tech in them... They basically use voice coils to pull on the swash plate in the 4 directions. The gryo is pretty good too for such a small craft.

The one thing i like about it is that it looks nothing like the semi-goofy looking coaxials. It operates nearly the same way that a real helicopter does (minus the collective) and is definitely a great heli to learn on before you go to the larger hobby-size versions.

  • @ReddmanDGZ thanks for the tech specs, i hadn't opened mine up yet to figure out what the actuators wear and i have been curious. I do like how this thing looks in the air, i fly mine pretty regularly.

  • @taoistflyer Yea, as far as I can tell, it uses far fewer moving parts than a standard 4 channel that has linkages and servos. Less parts to wear out likely translates to this aircraft lasting a good long time.

  • i saw it for 29.99 not 79.99

  • enjoyed your video. questions concerning the stabilizer bar on the helix 360. how to remove it while retaining the ability to replace it? and have you tried removing it so that you could enjoy a more aggressive flight capability?

  • @paddystaxi it should be very easy to pull off, their is one metal pin holding it on and the 2 plastic links, all of them can be pulled off without causing damage, I'm not sure how stable it will be but you've got me thinking about it, I'm going to have to try it now.

  • @taoistflyer how did it go for you? I pulled the pin and ditched the bars and it well didn't fly worth darn. So I put it all back. Really was hoping for a more aggressive flight but hey its not the blade mcx I guess....

  • @taoistflyer I tried it... didn't fly too well was hoping for a more aggressive flight but hey its not a blade MSR.... have you tried the solo 2 by nine eagles? its 2.4 ghz and about the same price

  • @paddystaxi I haven't tried the solo 2 yet, but I'm getting a protomax soon, i'm hoping for some more aggressive ff flight. i still haven't pulled off the flybar on my helix, but i guess with this heli the rotor really relies on it heavily, i guess the centrificl force isn't as much with this rotor as with rotors with more weight at the ends or hinged rotors.

  • Could you act a lil HAPPiER ...... Great video Though

  • when its low on battery power not easy to control and get altitude

  • how long is flight time and how long does it take to charge

  • @drumaddict247 flight time is about 8 or 10 minutes of solid flight. charge time is about 30 minutes, and it only uses 4 batteries in the TX instead of 6. it's the top notch air hogs heli.

  • Does anyone know if these are avalible at walmart target or meijer the only place ive seen them is on the toysrus site and i live no where near a toysrus but walmart target and meijer are only 45 minutes away

  • @Padzlockproductions checked (a) walmart for helis and they had the 2009 stuff but nothing new

  • Wherecan u currently buy this

  • @TheReviewer75 toys r us, target, and walmart all sell it for about 79.99

  • @taoistflyer Do you know if you can make a mod to charge off USB like all the 3.5 channel Heli's? I have a bunch of Airhogs and have gone with the Chinese ones for the main reason of having to buy so many AA batteries. Me and my kids will fly our Airhogs for 10-12 consecutive flights some times and it gets more pricey then the heli. I assume they are 3.7v batteries and if so should be able to charge with a modified USB cord like the Helix I think it was, the one with the two fans on the sides.

  • @sparky0308 You probably could, but new airhogs helis usue a different plug then most micro helis, it is a multi directional plug so you would have to make the plug or cut one from an airhogs tx and splice it with the usb charger.

out of all the airhogs helis the helix uses the least amount of batteries, it only uses 4 batteries, and gets about 15 or 20 conceutive flights.

I always use rechargable batteires in mine though so i haven't needed to buy new batteries in a few years.

  • Great review love your reviews very helpful.

  • I think that is just fantastic thanks!!

  • Hi I am looking for a RC helicopter that can lift up 400 grams (my camera ! ) Would tell me which one can do that and how much should I spend roughly? Thanks

  • *sniffle* Air Hogs has finally moved on. I guess their big boys now, finally moving into 4 channels. I mean, who were they tricking with the original helix and its two little rotors in the back to push it forward. About timee they realized that the little kids we were have gotten older and want more than up, down, left right.
