  • sanford and sons theme tune there in the background..... nice

  • great views.. nice weather.. just perfect for bikeing

  • I'm so lucky I get to drive on the PCH every day. I can't wait for the day when I can finally ride on it

  • I know I am repeating myself over and over but i am really enjoying this series. ;^)

  • @RC62 No worries Rob, I was a bit shy about reposting this, because it was a rerun..so believe me i cant thank you enough for rewatching =)

  • that road is on my bucket list for my bike...too bad i live on the east coast haha....but yea billy this series made me think what a great tv show this could be, following you around hitting all 50 states on ur motorcycle seeing local land marks and cuisine and cool things...idk man woould be pretty nifty to see u on tv some day haha

  • @MBW006x That kinda comment is why I even post this stuff...I had driven the PCH a few years before, but not "rode" it...I'm sure I'll catch it again someday =) thanks so much for the comment..

  • is there no james dean monument in place ? great video billy :) really glad you got back to this series, it's such great stuff :D

i'd take the pie (but minus the walnuts please lol)

  • @danmoto73 There is a monument inside town in front of the post office which I didn't know about until later. One interesting fact is that junction was named on Sept 30, 2005.. the 50th anni of Deans death...Thanks so much Dan, your comments are alway appreciated..

    Billy

  • Looks like a fun trip. I'm going to see my parents in Mexico in a few months and am hoping I can rent a bike there to do some short-ish distance cruising :). They used to live in Cali and I would love to ride over there too!

Question though: When are we getting the 'busa killer' walk around? :)

  • PCH is fun but only for so long!!! Off to Sac......

  • @DJCipster4BREAKS That's pretty crazy to me that you didn't know who Dean was, but it makes sense you being from Romania =) Cool about your b-day..I was born on the day that Bruce Lee died...Thanks for commenting Cip

  • Damn your Pie grammar!

  • @savethefreak I don't speak english, I speak america...it's different =)

  • @billmaa you mean 'American' lolz xD True it is different... damn non-conformists!

  • @savethefreak Lol, it's very different..Dave told me about the discussion you guys had about curling irons..Hahah

  • @billmaa if you mean straighteners... then the names themselves are totally different, curling, straightening... wtf.... hahaha

  • @billmaa amerrrrrrrrrica

  • @oCannabusdriver you know this

  • That's the most favorite pie you've ever had? lol

  • @Iroquois14 ...da most favoritested

  • Loving the new cut of Slaggys last ride! The new music from your buddy is a nice addition as well.

Off topic - what is your new ride?

  • @simplystrick Thanks Rob, The new ride is a Kawasaki ZX-12R

  • Someone left a comment a few videos ago and now I can't stop thinking about Hank Hill.

  • @b33p Haha, I'm sure Tracy loves that..

  • Great vid! but who is James Dean ;)

    Hmm walnut pie....sounds tempting.

  • @britex3186 Yanno, the breakfast sausage guy? Lol,

  • @jnt4life Question number one, the artist is Bleu Edmondson, number two...that's a great question...Dean was actually a true motorcyclist..I think he started on CZ, then got a royal enfield, an Indian, (his only cruiser) as well as a few triumphs..The only bike those days that one could consider a "sportbike" was the Vincent black shadow... he loved hi-tech performance stuff, I think he would've ridden a sportbike...but it would've been some European exotic =) just my guess

  • I hadn't even heard of walnut pie until just now. Looks good though.

  • @L0udP1p35 It was pretty darn good..

  • nice vid like allways i wanna go 2 america someday for a route 66 ride but thats not going 2 happen 4 at least 3 years well keep em cumming grz

  • @TheMoonsuki88 We hit route 66 a few times during this trip, its pretty wide open spaces, Thanks for the comment

  • Now why did I watch this at 11PM on Sunday! I want some of that pie now!!!!

  • @Itsreload Haha, you could ride out there this weekend =)

  • I heared that Jame's car was cursed. That anyone who came into contact with it

either died or was seriously injured. The car vanished after awhile never to be seen again. The pie at the end looked good evan though i don't like nuts.

    Great vid Bill.

  • @pulse0000 I've heard that too...the parts were sold to various racers and that they all had bad stuff happen to them....I'm not sure how much of it is real or just fun stories =)..Thanks for the comment..

  • I did not know that quote came from James Deans. that is my favorite quote. good vid. man!

  • @kary1982v6 It's a great quote, Thanks for the comment

  • love it bro=)

  • @downshift83 Thanks man, I wanted to add a 60 second vlog about the Cali Highway that you see at 2:13...He turned around and paid us a visit after we had shut the camera off..it was pretty damn funny...but unfortunately is been raining here for 2 freaking days here and I just posted this as it was..=)

  • hahaha i caught you starting to spell where not were. lmao

  • @tdad71302 haha, My friends catch me making that mistake in texts all the time =)

  • I love how you start with the awesome James Dean intro and tease us with the walnut pie at the end.... Hmmm you seem to have a lot of pies in your videos.... :)

  • wow that looks good... thanks for the upload! love to see the beach! livin' in the middle of Utah for the last 10 years straight has brought me down not being able to go back and see where i used to live near the beach im even thinking about taking my KE100 straight over the mountains and ending up in LA haha

  • @apricotsnms516 Haha, now that's the spirit!

  • Nice, I used to cowboy for a ranch in Shandon about 5 miles from where JD died. Say Hi, if you're ever in my neighborhood again. ={D

  • @gaijin1200 Small world..lol

  • 40MPH? Good thing you brought out the big bikes. I like the pie review. You can recommend a food item from every town you stop at, that'll be fun.

  • @daedalx Lol, every 3rd vehicle on the PCH that day was a RV doing 8 mph..there was a few spots we got to stretch it out, but they were rare..

  • If wasnt going to be on a schedule heading to Arizona, I'd definitely take the PCH down through Cali. Looks to be a beautiful route :)

  • @davidhowellca It was, a bit crowded for my tastes, and but still beautiful scenery..

  • @VVoodstockRider Thank you, alot of great memories with this trip..

  • Ohh man u made me hungry.

  • @8cuttlefish8 Lol, I made myself hungry

  • @BusasaurusRex I second that!

  • billma i noticed on this ride you were o the vfr was this viedo made before u bought the zx12 ad if so do u still have the vfr also

  • @kd4ysi This video was shot in 2007, long story on why I'm redoing the series, but if you check out the first video in this series it explains it a bit better...But yes, I still have the VFR

  • Awesome black and wight editing in the begining billy!.. the music was brilliant too!

    I WANT PIE!

    =)

  • @canis002 Thanks Johny, It's been raining here so I've just holed with my computer last few days...And that pie, that was 2 1/2 years ago and I dream of it still lol..

  • That coastline looked amazing ...roll on September I can't wait.

    Loved the James Dean tribute.

  • @RedanWhiteRebel I'll miss ya by a couple of months, take some great video there RWR =)

  • @billmaa I will look forward to watching your vids for some inspiration.

  • Walnut pie better than pecan? Some atomic wings might have got you guys goin' again real quick! Warmed you right up!

  • @geesisfreak I'm a huge pecan pie fan, but that was something else...I think I"ll pass on the atomic wings for...oh...about the rest of my life =)

  • @billmaa I'll bet! You know I have been to QSL twice since watching your vid when you ate those things. Each time I think, "Should I?" and then I remember your video. The highest I have gone is Cajun. Wings are too important a food source to not be able to enjoy them.

  • @geesisfreak I've not been back, which is a shame because it's pretty darn good eats..
