The Showcase one was the worst (GSN93's), where it was completely cut out. That was the IMPORTANT part!

Wow you can tell times were different.. no bells clanging on the perfect bid.. no $100.. no $10.. not even any real recognition by Bob... ah the laid-back style of years gone by...

Everyone seems calm in these early shows. Since no one knew the popularity that show would have, it's okay and that's why they were just taking there time coming down. Double Prices is the simplest pricing game out there and it's very appropriate for the first show. It's too bad that Elaine ends up with one of the biggest distinctions ever in Price is Right history. Everyone will have distinctions to take home with them after this day. Very leisurely episode so far.

The music was odd too, kinda reminds me of the Carpenters back up music on their albums
