Wow! This was written by the Yankee side. They forgot to mention that Missouri was illegally invaded by General Lyons at the order of Lincoln after the state had voted to stay neutral. She also forgot that Quantril's raid on Lawrence killed 188 known Red Legs who had been murdering whole families in Missouri. Quantril killed no women or children and only burned Red Leg homes and businesses.
