Our house is pretty quiet, actually. Even though they have the reputations for being quiet birds, they are still capable of making loud noises when they want to. Everything is relative, I suppose. ;)

Now Pionus parrots are supposed to be pretty quiet... I'm guessing that he's doing that because he has been exposed to loud noises, plus he's in competition with the jenday?
