  • Make sure you mositurize you hair and you can wear protectives styles until your hair will grow to its desired length.

  • I dislike sometimes reading comments because someone is always suggesting a product you go out and buy it and it does work for your hair its a waste of money. I'm jusy saying.

  • yur hair is beautiful girl!!! far from "a mess" yu should check out @UrbanBushBabes channel there are two girls, one with lose curls and one with a very course hair texture named Cipriana! and her hair i think is exactly your hair texture, she grew it out, and it looks absolutely beautiful. and im sure you can find some tips and styles on that channel!!! i wish you all the best girl, stay up and love your hair!!

  • Your hair is lovely, but you can't see the beauty in it because you are focussing on the negative. So first of all, embrace you in all your natural glory and appreciate what you have. At least you've got hair. I also have type 4 hair (mainly 4b) and I can vouch that all the advice on moisturising with water (sometimes with glycerin), sealing with an oil or a butter and minimal manipulation is right. What works for my hair on a day-to-day basis are two-strand twists. Why not give that a try?

  • Hi Sis,

After watching your video, my heart was broken. II also have 4C hair texture and love it! There is so much that you can do with it once you know which products work for your hair type. You are fearfully and wonderfully made!!! Try using shea butter, coconut oil and any products from Organic Root Stimulator (ORS) Almond oil is also very good for softening. Kinky Curl is also a great product. Stay away from petroleum based products. Make sure it stays moisturized. Hope this helps!

  • Use the whole line, though - it doesn't mix well with most other products.

  • Just get yourself some KCCC and try it on dry hair. It will work! I promise - I have the exact same hair type and I found coils. Hang in there!

  • Ohhh and twist it girl African hair grows faster when it is in twist :)

  • sweety u have to use vitamins like biotin and fish oils, use all kinds of oils for your hair, jojaba oilolive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, castol oil, shea butter and water drink aloooot of water use a good hair conditioner a leave in hair conditioner like a hair mayonnaise wash your hair once a week and oil and tie it at nights when u have to go to bed :)

  • stop it from BREAKING off just boil some lipton tea or any BLACK tea and let it be a little bit warm or not you can spray it on the hair or you can rinse it also helps you with a natural curl pattern.

  • gel use some clear ice by Ampro or either of teh ampro gels the one with protein is good.

you should stop wasting a bunch of money on all those over priced products seriously V05 is like a dollar it is really good too. they now have clarifying conditioner for those of us who like washing our hair with conditioner. LOL

  • Condition it for a while with VO5 Tea tree Conditioner or any of the 405 or Totally Twisted by Herbal Essence COnditioner.. i would start with Conditioner Mayonaise. if you want it to be more curly do a vinegar/water rinse.. that will define your curl patter. it just needs a deep conditioner. Take some biotin vitamins as well. you can do it. condition it or wash with conditioner more than a shampoo for a while. ALSO Indian Store go to Indian store get a henna treatment its like THree bucks

  • so how are you making out with your hair sis!

  • Comment removed

  • this is just my hair type 4C!!!! I understand how you feel .this is my hair regimen: once a week I deep condition with ORS replenishing pack. after that I mixe pure share butter with ORS leave in condition. during the week i daily use ORS leave in condition and cocunot oil. before combin the hair i always add water and the above products. when my hair was very short I used to just comb it and go. since 2 weeks i've started doing twist!very soon am going to try bantu and side twist. don't give up

  • ps....you are a beautiful young lady

  • 1. begin taking vitamins. Hair skin, nails by natures made or spring valley or biotin 5000 mcg (may be too high to start with)

    2. grow those edges, talk to dermatologist or just stop braiding and pray

    3. look up how to balance the ph of all your products, its all over youtube, The basic premise is get testing strips and making sure your products fall within a moderate acidic range.

  • "Nice texture" , wow, okay you mean loose hair, I think you should be happy with yourself. If you perm, you will never get the full benefits of being natural. It will be harder and take more work to grow out. I'm a 3c/4a/4b at the front but you need to condition your hair and try finger doodles, or braid it up and put on a wig and grow it for a year or until 6 inches and see if you like it.

  • Two strand twist are not out of regulation. I know I'm late to this video but. A "perm" would not be the best option for basic training. They don't just allow you to keep your touch ups going lol. It looks good to me. I hope everything worked out for you though.

  • have you considered growing really cute neat dreads? Like sister locs. I think it would look pretty on you. This way you can avoid relaxing it and you can see the full extent of your growth?

    good luck girl!

  • Please don't go back to the creamy crack. I have the same hair as you...shoot it my even be a 5 A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/I/J...you get my point...but anyway my hair is long now past my shoulders when straight...so please don't perm it.

  • Hey, I hope you stuck with it! My hair is the same exact hair type (not even sure what it is lol) I did the BC in July and I looked like who done it and ran... couldn't do sheeeeeeit with it, either. I was so frustrated. Now that my hair has grown out, I'm more confident in wearing my hair out in a fro, twistout, etc and it actually LOOKS cute. My styling options just increased and it's so cool. I know I surely wanted to reach for a perm myself, but I'm sticking with it the best I can... HHJ!

  • I hope you made it....I have very similar har and I know how you feel....I have been natural for one year and only have about 2 inches of length.....slow to grow, very coily and hard to detangle....but I have survived

  • your hair is the same texture as mine, with the same weak hairline too but my hair grows 6" a year, which i thought was good untill i watched a few hair growth vids. Now i'm hoping to grow an inch per month. Anyway, dont relax it, wear a lace front wig or braids until your hair grows out. There is nothing wrong with your hair it just needs to grow out so you can style it.

  • I am glad I got the chance to watch your video . I have the same kind of hair and yes it is hard at times. It is a learning process, I am still learning. Do not perm it though. I am currently trying to work on a regimen. I am using design essential Natural line. How are you ?

  • Be you...I hope you didn't get a perm..it's take time, patience and youtube.:-) I also was frustrated when I decided to be me. U are a beautiful natural. Peace.

  • I have the same hair texture is used and I used the Kimmaytube leave in conditioner. I finally found something that was able to moisturize my hair. You should look it up.

  • nooo don't perm, i'm pretty sure pple who r natural go through the same problem. buy a spray bottle, fill with water and oil to loosen, style and hydrate. your hair just need some moisture.

  • I think comb coils/twists would look really cute on you at this length.

  • hang in there you have the same kind of hair i have use shea butter and olive oil and water. how long have u been natural?

  • I know u posted this some time ago but at that length u should just go with a long term protective style like yarn braids or whatever in order to grow grow grow grow that out. That type of hair doesnt look all that great short but long it looks really amazing. but if u wanna experiment try fabric softener maybe or learn Ph balance & natural hair. Also its ok to want soft hair just as long as u dont Envy it... its possible just not practical.

  • It looks similiar to my hair after i wash it. It looks maybe 4a/4b texture . What I do is use African Pride braid conditioning spray and Motions leave in conditioning spray for a quick moisturizer on the go then brush it in a pony tail. For deeper conditioner i use Profectiv cream strengthener from root to tip and use a wide tooth comb to detangle. I hope it helps. :)

  • girl people be thinking my hair supposed to be all soft lol.....i have stright up 4c.....and natural,,,,i see u posted this awhile ago so what r u doing with it now

  • Okay, you relax :). Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately. You have an absolutely gorgeous face and your hair is a very pretty. That short TWA looks good on you. Buy you some AFrican Royale Detangling leave in spray and your hair will look so soft and shiny. But, whatever you do "PLEASE DON'T PERM IT" you will regret it honey. You look beautiful girl!

  • I used extra virgin olive oil on my hair after every wash & no heat

  • Naptural85 has a video about a conditioning regimen she uses that many are pleased with using

greek yogurt; apple cider and lavender oil.

  • lollll i didn't know by being a certain complexion that qualified a certain texture....your hair just simply lacked moisture, try just conditioning only or use a shampoo without sulfates....try and stay away from protein for awhile....by the way how did basic training go and how's your hair?~

  • Did you relax your hair after this video? I have the same hair you have and I found out I was not keeping it moist enough. No matter what you have to do, keep your hair moist. A spray bottle of water and olive oil or melted shay butter should stay beside your bed every night. Don't concern yourself about how your hair will look for the first year of this process. Believe me, once you get past that first year you'll be surprised at how well your hair will respond.

  • Lol Sjamison13! This is the first hair type that closely resembles mine! I'm seriously considering going natural in January 2012 and nobody seems to have my hair type. One of my greatest concerns is my hairline-its scanty and very kinky. Not only that, my scalp is VERY tender. Any form of manipulation hurts like hell. It was such a relief (i'm sorry) to watch your video.

  • Put a wig on until you're comfortable.

  • you are to funny... please don't put a relaxer in your hair. however, if it's just too stressful then do what you gotta do girl, it's just hair.

If you decide to go the natural route, first cut your hair even. Next, make sure you're eating right, lots of green veggies. Also, make sure you keep your moisturized. I use a mixture of natural oils and distilled water. Lastly, relax and do the best you can to live a drama, stress free life. Stress is unhealthy for your hair.

  • girl I love ur hair embrace it! My hair is exzactly like yours but alot harder and very thick I wld say ur hair type is 4D. I really recommend moisturizing it alot with some deep conditioner and leave-ins. If u want to try a new product you can try Kinky-Curly curling custard. Hopefully it can give you some curl definition. Don't give up stay NATURAL.

  • i think one of the best things people can do for their natural hair is cut it even. You can go to a barber shop to get it cut even. Second, moisturize it probably. I also like to part it in the middle and comb it down and put hair clips or bobby pins to hold it down too.

  • idk what type you have. embrace it anyways. i think u r so beautiful. if you want you could get some transitioning box braids (not too thin) and grow it out for about 9 months. then you might have enough hair to do some funky styles with it. NATURAL ALL THE WAY BABY GURL!!! GOOD LUCK!

  • I hope everything worked out well for you since this video was back in March. You probably need to dc with a heavy condition and some good oils and detangles with tons of cheapie conditioner. A good shower comb and the Denman brush should suffice detangling. You probably need a good cream leave-in that is water based. Don't give up and just be you. God created only one you and he said it is good. Think positive. Be blessed.

  • NEXT LEVEL ENTERTAINMENT CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS WORLDWIDE

Lady, go to a "Hair Salon!" This video makes you look... ridiculous! Not your hair, but your attitude! Take this mess down! Are you crazy? SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE!

  • lol u are tripping me out. I think you should start off with an s curl or like you said, microbraid it until you can get a little more length on it. Your hair looks very soft I'm sure you'll find a way to style it! I would love to see how it looks now.

  • get an s curl. so u can still have curls, i kno a lot of women that look really nice with the s curl ")

  • i think your natural hair is beautiful.

  • also you look exactly like an old friend of mine..just younger..same skin tone, same hair texture and color same glasses! very cool!

  • this is probably the first time in your life you are handling your hair we all have huge learning curves. everyone's hair is so different...cipriana of urbanbushbabes didn't find a regimen for a year but now here hair is 4c and so long. also check out mwedzi. i think we should all at least try to figure out how to take care of our hair...relaxed, natural is a choice but i thinkit's still good to know how to take care of your hair in either state. Just my opinion though! Good luck sweetie!

  • you are very pretty and even though im relaxed..i love your hair

  • what i say is go ORGANIC!!!!!! yeaaa it may be alil pricy but sooo worth it!! chemicals arent helping your hair with moisterizin and what not and what many others said, protecitive hairstyles is great too!

  • girl, i won't even front...my hair is just like yours and when it was your length, i kept it moisturized and wore it in braids for a few months until it grew out to where i could have some fun with it. no matter what, our hair loves protective styling and moisture...no getting around that.

  • lol i like how real u are! extreme to the max perm =) do an update let us know wat u decided!!

  • knot today and CHI silk infusion and leave in... also twist than take out

  • Try a texturizer. Dats wat I do and I luv it. My hair is 4xyz!

  • I did my big chop in August and my hair is just as thick as yours and about that length. i have been using shea moisture products and cantu shea butter leave in condition..... to defiine my curls I wash my hair then put my cantu and eco styling on it. Works great.

  • Your hair is alot like my hair. Have you found any solutions that work and when will you make an update video?

  • I don't know if you've found a solution yet, but I have your hair type as well. The hair types only go up to 4C I think, so you're a 4C. For easier management / combing, you must / should spray your hair with water (not to the point where it's dripping wet, but just so that you can put a finger through without getting too caught up.) So yeah, dampen your hair and then use a wide tooth comb to style it. It'll make life easier for you. But I still have days where I sometimes try to relax my hair.

  • Not a mess at all.. my hair is JUST like yours...still trying to discover what works for me.. but so far pure shea butter, glycerine, jojoba and WATER seems to be my hair's friend.. try it.. Good luck :)

  • @NatchoDorito your right on point i have the same hair. i use shea moisture or giovani leave in conditioner, i also use shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, glycerin these are to help your hair from being dry. also do shinglesin your hair and use shine curl activating gel it will look white at first but when your hair drys it will blend in.

  • Doll stop speaking so negative about your hair, trust your hair is beautiful. Stop fighting against it and allow it to do its thing. You are beautiful and so is your hair.

its not a mess its your hair. Get funky with it and wear headband and hair clips, make your face up, wear so me nice jewerly and call it a day. Please dont give up and stop buying into the sterotypes that something is wring wuth your hair. Peace

  • @crustzip Amen!

  • lol!! girl you had me dyinnng. lol update us on what you chose to do when you get home.

  • Comb eco styler through it? Make certain to separate the curls.

  • My hair is just like yours. I almost gave up but I got micros and weaves and waited it out and I am seeing positive results. I have 5 inches of growth in one year. I should have 6 inches but I started blow drying it to get more length but I've cut back on that and rock the micros as oftena s possible.

  • Your hair is beautiful and so are you! You just need to find a hair dresser that has experience with natural hair and there are tons of styles that you can do with your hair with out perming it but it is up to you. I would not do micro braids thou because they can make your hairline very weak but any other braiding would be good or even weaving you have a lot of options. Good Luck Sista!

  • Get the microbraids, do not relax your hair. Yeah its nappy alright lol just like mines and it looks like mine did when I big chopped last year in november. I suggest you wear weave until it grows out, braids and wigs are your best friend. Trust and believe me, its gonna look a 'mess' until it grows out long enough for you to stretch it with twist, braids, ponytails, flexirods, rollers, the list goes on. It gets better with growth, so dont give up on your natural hair yet. Also, use water daily.

  • My hair is super thick too I'm in the 4d-z category myself start off with a detangler when I first went natural I used just for me detangler and it did wonders for combing my hair. Our texture looks similar....

  • THE CREAM I PREFER IS ELASTA QP MANGO BUTTER AND OLIVE OIL MOISTURIZER !! IF YOU DEEP CONDITION LIKE THIS EVERY THREE TO FOUR DAYS YOU SHOULD NMOT HAVE A PROBLEMS AT ALL !! AND KEEP YOU R HAIR IN PROTECTIVE STYLES LIKE SEW-INS AND KINKIES .. THEY MAKE THE HAIR GROW . JUST USE THE WATER AND COCONUT OIL IN A SPRAY BOTTLW TO KEEP HAIR MOIST DURING THOSE STYLES ! THIS WAS VERRY LONG . HOPE I DIDNT BORE YOU .. HOPE IT HELPED YOU . EVEN THO IM VERRY LATE ! :D

  • WHEN YOU RINSE OUT THE CONDITIONER ,, RINSE IT OUT WITH HOT WATER !! AS HOT AS YOU CAN STAND TO OPEN UP YOUR HAIR CUTICLES .. AFTER RINSING USE METHOD --> "L.O.C <-- LIQUID . OIL . CREAM !! I GOT IT FROM BLACKONYX77 <-- YOU SHOULD CHECK HER OUT !! APPLY A GOOD QUARTER SIZE OR TWO AMOUNT OF ANY GOOD CONDITIONER !! I PREFER THE ONE I LISTED TO SEAL IN MOISTURE AND THEN USE AN OIL I PREFERED OLIVE OR COCONUT OR BOTH !! TO SEAL IN MORE MOISTURE ! AND TOP IT OFF WITH A NICKEL SIZE DOLLOP OF CREAM ..

  • TAKE A SPRAY BOTTLE . FILL IT UP W/ WARM WATER & OILS OF YOU CHOICE . I PERFER --> COCONUT OIL !! OR OLIVE OIL !! SATURATE HAIR WITH SOLUTON . DIVIDE HAIR INTO 6-8 SECTIONS . TAKE A REGURAL / OR WIDE TOOTH COMB & START TO DETANGLE . ALWAYS DETANGLE HAIR FROM THE TIP TO THE ROOT !! DO IT FOR ALL SECTIONS !! *ALSO WORKS FOR DEEP CONDTIONING (^) AFTER YOU DETANGLING ... APPLY A GOOD PENETRATING CONDITIONER . MY FAVORITES ARE : "YES TO CARROTS" , "NATURES GATE ALOE VERA CONDITIONER" & GIOVANNI . :D
  • Your hair is not Nappy girl!!!!!!!

  • I'm not sure where you are in your hair journey cause you posted this video a while back. I have 4C super thick thick thick curly hair. it's all about moisture lady, get you a spray bottle and put some water in it. Also get some shea butter and mix it up with hair oils of your choice until its creamy and use that to moisturize your hair. You basically have to learn what your hair likes, I hope you didn't give up on the journey. Go get your hair braided, kinky twist and transition that way.

  • Don't perm it. Hang in there! Double strand twist. Use some curlz or jane carter! That i crazy that the expect straight hair. It will be beautiful don't cave.

  • You are to cutie

  • I think you need to check out kimmaytube. She has some really good information about taking care of your hair properly.

  • @MsPrittygal The thing is that Sjamison probably has 4c hair and kimmayoutube certainly doesn't so whatever she does won't work on sjamison's hair :(

  • your hair looks soft like maybe a 4b, try doing twist out with alittle eco styler n some olis.

  • Darlin.... your hair is NOT nappy... ITS CURLY!!!!. You have curls like mine that need moisture daily or protection. Your hair was not created to grow long which is why it grows against the head and tangles and breaks... if you want to grow your hair long anyway, protect it from tangling using braids, twists, or locks.

  • loool @4cdef that's so funny

  • I use Giovanni products (tea tree tripple treat and nutrafix deep conditioner) and all-natural shea butter. Every now and then I use extra virgin olive oil, but yeah that's pretty much it. In basic training you can wear cornrows for a protective syle.

  • do I like I did. Get it loced you will love it.

  • I agree use Cantu Shea butter. It comes in everything, conditioners, strengthening treatment and super shine... don't forget to get some good oils..... I hope it's not to late.

  • Lol I love you!

For us 4c - 9z (yup 9z) girls I would say try Cantu Leave In Conditioning Shea Butter long name but works. It softens the hair & I absolutely love it. Also carry a spray bottle of water just to moisturize whenever.

  • Your honesty and realness is refreshing.

  • OMG.....YOU NEED YOUR OWN SHOW...YOU ARE HILLARIOUS!!! DON'T GIVE UP HONEY..DON'T PERM IT...SAY NO TO HAIR CRACK!!! I wish you the best in journey...I'm sure it will grow ...you just have to continue to take care of it and be patient...you'll see!!!

  • Forgot to tell you. I use EcoStyler (Olive Oil) to define my curls. That works for me, but you will have to find the right products for you. You are going to have to train your natural hair to curl if you've been straightening it.

  • You are so cute and so real. That's why you have all likes. I hope you are still trying to work your natural hair. We all go through that "Ugh" stage as we transition to natural hair. But like dabrillantone said, just wait until you're looking at it 6 months from now. My hair was short like yours and I did exactly what Truly and Linkin suggested...water, conditioner and gel. Two years later, my hair is past my shoulders...way past. My advice: Learn to LOVE the hair God gave you. It's beautiful.

  • An apple cider vinegar rinse cleans the hair and the scalp. It really makes your hair fill soft, gives it shines, and makes it easy to manage. I also use shea butter, coconut oil, vegetable glycerin to keep moisture in my hair and to also two strand twist my hair. I have cut back on the main stream products that I use but I will still use Miss Jessie Curly Pudding to twist my hair. Check out the end of my hair journey video to see what I you use .

  • You need to keep your hair moisturizer. You are going to have to start by conditioning it very very well after you wash it. Sometimes I condition mines before and after I wash it. An apple cider vinegar rinse also help my hair. You can do this by mixing half cup apple cider vinegar with two cups of water together. Pour it onto the hair and let it sit for about 10 to 15 min. rinse and style as usual. this process can be done after washing & conditioning or just by itself.

  • please don't give up. I'm 4ccc hair too and I have learned to deal with mines

  • girl hang in there!! just image how ur natural hair will look like in lets say 6 months from now!! lemme tell u... THE BOOOMB! right no u MIGHT not have a dicernable curl pattern but that might change when it grows longer... ur hair seems full nonetheless.. girl we all have been there we all struggled in the course of our journey but it's so much worth it so please dont give up!!

  • twists, i know your in the army in all, but twists are your friend. Your hair texture does not look that bad. When my hair was that length I would wet it and pic it out in a fro until it got longer.

  • you have beautiful hair.

  • My hair is a lot like yours in texture. I'm still trying to figure it out myself, but I use Dr. Miracle temple and nape cream as well as the anti-breakage strengthening cream. It really works well. I have just started using Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel to get it to curl up. So far I'm pleased.

  • I really really hope I am not to late. My hair is a lot like yours only I have about 3 or 4 different textures in my head. Lol. You should join Naturalsunshine.ning.com. It's a social network for naturals and all the women are so nice and helpful.

I'm going to send you a message telling you a few things that should help! Stay natural hun!

  • I was getting frustrated at first which resulted in 2 big chops from chemicals. But my third time I stuck through it and when you see your hair growing instead of staying short and breaking off you will be so happy. But it is hard work it isn't easy. I have more of coil slightly curly hair and I do things to enhance them. But you definitely want to use moisturizers and water is your best friend. But to be honest you have to find what will work for you which is really the hard part after easy.

  • I would say that you will have to work through it being short. once is gets longer you can wear a headband or like you said braids. But I don't know about chemicals cause your edges are kind of (no offense please) damaged or broken off. I can't tell if you have a curl pattern but if you do, try a conditioner and see how it looks and even gel. I'm not sure but good luck. Water and conditioner or leave in but don't just wake and let it stay dry cause that won't do any good.

  • look up 4c natural girls on youtube they can show you what to do

    DONT GIVE UP

  • mini twist

  • hope my comment is not to late, I thought I made a mistake going natural, hated my hair the day after cause of the texture, bc 4/2011 hsve only been a month I love my hair u can not change the texture there are things to soften your hair. I co wash only adding honey to conditioner. Scurl no drip activator moistuzer and coconut oil, 100 %vegetable gylcerine my hair is soft as cotton. If you do not have a curl pattern use eco gel on dry hair then twist your hair hope this help, much luv to u

  • Yeah, I have a lot of the alphabet in my hair, too! Sub to my channel and it may help...

  • My hair's a lot like yours. Hang in there! Like a previous commenter said, you could look up 4c girls on youtube. I would wash and deep condition (i add olive oil and honey to my DC mix because it helps my hair with the dryness). After i rinse, I then apply a leave in like kimmaytube's leave in (you can youtube that too). I try to keep it stretched- blow dry, braids etc.

  • And sidebar many gay guys are shaddy, dont listen to what a gay guy says. We are just shady by nature for know apparent reason.

  • talk to a ethnic hair specialist (hairdresser). You hair dont like that bad you just need to learn to love your hair becauase its not a mess and not nappy

  • Be strong! I have contemplated a perm so many times but I'm glad I didn't. There is something nice about having your own texture. When your hair grows, you will have more flexibility with styles and you will be glad you kept your natural hair. But I def feel your pain and frustration. We have to embrace it though, cuz it's ours after all! And God don't make mistakes!! :)

  • hahaha you have hair like me. However, I think mine may be worse. Sorry to say, our hair will never achieve that silky texture without getting a perm. Your best bet is to wash your hair, deep condition, blow dry it (since it is short) and then two-strand twist it with a moisturizer. Sleep on it, take it out in the morning. Because your hair is so thick, it will hold a two strand twist out much better than ladies who don't have really thick hair. I recommend shea butter, jojoba oil, & coconut oil

  • Be encouraged dear-- if you are just starting out, this hair is going to be driest and hardest to maintain in the beginning months. It is called 'scab hair' it is the hair directly growing from the glands from within the scalp that have also been affected by chemical processing. WATER, WATER, WATER is my recommendation; Coconut Oil, I have found, is one of the most abosorbent-- into the shaft of the hair and scalp. I have '5D' hair if that makes you feel any better :)

  • I think you're just overwhelmed hon. Why not go into braids for a while, maybe to get a little bit of length and to give yourself a little break? you can also do finger coils all over which would be cute. Don't give up yet, because it looks like you're just beginning the journey. It isn't your texture that's a problem right now at all, so please stop thinking that way. There are a lot of 4c girls on yt fourseenatural, tonidaley, mstanish1... they are there. Look them up, and hang in there!

  • cant tell what your hair is dry...gonna have to complisult u mama your pretty but in MY OPINION try to get some single braids, two strand twists a wig.. till you get some length cause real talk that does look real awful and those edges need to come in more if you dont want any form of weave get a headband wet that hair and eco styler gel not trying to offend being real sista
